In the future you guys should probably be more careful about the tap on worldbosses. When you were fighting him, it was actually tapped to a different raid group(not ours). When the dragon shows up as deaggro but grey, it means that either a shaman with Lightning Shield on has purposely walked into range and tapped him, or a hunter has shot and then feigned. To clear it, have a hunter tag + feign again, or else have a rogue whack Big Blue and vanish.

And yes, the loot was Drape + Typhoon. My fucking Puissant Cape continues to elude me.

The shaman lightning shield thing no longer works, as Blizzard turned off the pulsing when azuregos is out of combat. I know because last time I was there for the kill I ran along azuregos with lightning shield and it never tagged him

I was in the Goon group, and I had alt tabbed to warn Strife on IRC that it was tapped for our raid and not theirs, and then I alt tabbed back and I was in Alterac Valley. :)

So I guess things worked out for me in the end! I am still so very very far from Honored, and the AV I was in today was frightfully dull. I TRY to ninja heads, I try so hard! But when I see my nearby party member's health getting low, I just have to hit that Healing Touch button and I miss out on all the lucious Night Elf noggins. :(

Anyways, I'm glad you guys at least got a shot at it, it was fun standing around and watch the Alliance try, and to sit on Gokes and keep him warm. Just be careful about that tapping thing.

I was in the Goon group and he was yellow to me all through the Alliance encounter.

We were told that it was a bug (him being grey) and we would still get loot (not sure where but thats what Thux said he was told). We were kinda in a rushed state because we saw your groups forming and didn't know if it was gonna turn into a pvp encounter where we had to fight you off and kill him or not.

It was very eerie to have 100+ horde standing watching and we shoulda had our rogues on from the start. However we didn't know if you guys were gonna try to mess with us so they were "keeping guard."

Thanks for the tip Wodin and hopefully one day we will get to tap him and kill ourselves :D.

I was in the goon raid and it was my first time seeing a world boss go down.

There was alot more running around then I expected.
