Well the Warlock Detect Invisible was my preferred method for stalking them and I didn't even realize I wasn't using it yesterday while farming for meat. As far as Terrokar is concerned I didn't notice a single invisible one, nor did any last long enough during a fight with me to do so. I did not check the daily area.

Regarding Supremus' new size, it seems that if the kiter is somewhere near a construct in the courtyard where Supremus doesn't fit when he does his initial charge, he teleports them into melee and instagibs them. I'm not sure if it was possible before but with his new size it's certainly making it a much bigger chance. Anecdotally, it has never happened to us before, and yesterday it happened to several people in the raid.

Normally, this would fall under the "does Onyxia deep breath more?" category, but has anyone experienced massive increase in rare gem drop and prospect rates? It would make sense to not devalue the market for those, now that epic gems are becoming easier to get.
Anyway, during a simple quest run in Netherwing Ledge I have had 4 blue gems drop off 9 Nethercite Veins. Also, prospecting 6 stacks of Adamantite granted me 19 rare gems. Way off the supposed 20% chance to get a rare. I know it's not a sufficient sample size for an accurate picture, but feel free to confirm or disprove this.

You have to be a lot quicker getting your MT and OT to Supremus now also due to his huge hitbox. He can instagib quite a few people if they don't get out of his melee range in time. Last night was I think our messiest kill ever, including our first pull before we killed him for the first time.
On an aesthetic note, It's pretty annoying killing something that you can't actually see the whole of unless you are 200 yards away from it. As an offtank I feel I'm fighting a pair of legs now, not a boss.

My wife was doing prospecting last night and actually commented on this, too. Purely anecdotal, but she got many more blues than the average. Most of were talasites, tho

Annoying chat feature.
It seems like if your first chat window (aka DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME) will always have guild chat, money and item loot automatically enabled at login. Despite telling it to not have those three active in that frame.
So each time I login I have to click Settings and turn all three on (the UI recognises them as off, but they still recieve the events), click Ok and then click Settings again to turn them off. Quite annoying.
Anyone know if (and how) you can control chat frames through macros? If so I could make a macro to hit on login instead.

This isn't so much an undocument change, but a comment on a change which doesnt deserve it's own thread.
With the arrival of 2.4, as per the changes, the loot tokens for tier pieces has increased to 3 (originally being 1 at the start of TBC).
This is great for tier 5/6 loot as clearing these dungeons gives the raid 3 pieces of each of these armor slots.
However for this new form of tokenisation that has been implemented for tier 7, the drop rates for these armor pieces seems to be back to the start of tbc days.
The tier 7 legs for example drop off the first 3 bosses. Of the reported kills that have occured so far that I have seen there have been 4 drops from 12 kills. Yes the sample size is small but this is only 1 set of tier 7 leggings per full clear.
The tier 7 gloves that drop from trash also havent been reported as dropping that much yet. With a lot of the trash front loaded, if you were going to get 3 sets of gloves per clear I would have expected to see more of these dropping.
It feels as whilst the tier5/6 armor is dropping increasingly more readily, the tier 7 drops have devolved to the old ssc/tk drop rates of 1 set piece per clear. This seems a little off for end game raiders.

it would make sense not having the droprates as high as older content, seeing how blizzard wants people to be able to catch up easier. Guilds that arent as progressed wont have to farm bt/mh for as long to get geared for sunwell, while guilds doing sunwell now wont get equipped in t7 gear instantly across the board.

What's Tier 7? There's no such thing in the game.
I'm presuming you're referring to the new non-set Chest, Helm, Legs, Gloves and Shoulders that are non-class specific and drop in Sunwell. If so, I don't see why you'd expect there to be a fixed drop of these items seeing as they're not tokens and they're not a set. Especially not given that the first three bosses in Sunwell should be dropping Tier 6 boots, bracers and belt tokens!

The system seems to be a lot "stricter" about sending home characters who get logged out while in an instance -- twice, someone who was offline for under a minute found themself at their hearthpoint (and once more at the start of an uncleared instance, degrouped).
Of course, we didn't care all that much as we had a lock, but still worth noting.

@Kaytikat
They may not be tokens or have a set bonus attached to them but they are quite clearly the equivalent to tier 7 in another guise.
@Abbichum
Yeah I agree one could put accross the 'catch up' argument for 3 pieces per clear in tier 6. But to go down to 1 piece of 'tier 7' isn't going to slow the top end guilds all that much, its just going to slow their gearing up time and increase the forced farming time of the instance. They could have at least kept it at 2 per clear.

that might be exactly what they want. who knows when wotlk comes and they need to keep people playing some way or another. sure, its a lame way to go about it, but coupled with the gates already being a block, it might work ^^
anyways, gl to you guys with some serverfirst in sunwell.

You're missing the point.
The first three bosses in Sunwell already have 2 (3?) T6 tokens on them each. Were you really expecting to get 2/3x[Belt/Bracers/Boots], 2x[Legs] and a normal loot drop?

That and it appears that the channelers have alot less HP. We went in there last night to test it out, granted we all outgear the place, we ended up with 20+ seconds before mag released and all channelers down, this was without kicking any heals and having an accidental pull without buffing.
As someone else mentioned before, Mag = New Onyxia (I would actually say alot easier than her now, as long as you have 5 people who can hit a box within 12 seonds, you get free loot and gold).

It also looks alot uglier and intrusive. :S
Anyways, in defensive stance the damage range of your weapon on the paper doll will now always be shown in red (with a 0.9 modifier behind it) which is new. Before it would only show in red if you did not have 1 hand spec. Fortunately this is just an aesthetical change, 1 hand spec still increases damage done by 10% in every stance. Regardless, it is an odd change.

You can make it look almost like Omen-1 if you want. I made the title completely transparent for example, so it disappeared and now I only have the bars plus the icon row which is basically what Omen-1 looked like.

Also anecdotial, but I had the same experience. No less then 4 living ruby off 6 stacks of ore along with other gems. I got at least 1 blue per stack, often more.
This probably could do with some proper sample sizes though. If it is indeed increased, we should see wowheads numbers slowly start to rise soon.

Woo, thanks! That solved it. Added it to my already existing macro that hides the ugly World Map icon by the minimap. Which I always press when I login. :>

If anyone is interested in that.

Whatever you do don't turn omen2 to AOE mode during an AOE fight. I tried it on the first few waves of hyjal trash, i suddenly started getting one frame every 5 seconds or so and after about 30 seconds it just stopped and disconnected me, other people had similar experiences with it. Healer mode reportedly is the same, just keep it on single target for now.

You can remove the header, size down the dialog, cut down the auto grow, and set transparency.
It's not so bad but it does need some configuration to look remotely ok again.

Why not just add a "Classic Mode" setting which makes it look identical to Omen(1). The classic skin is close but not quite there. If you change something people are used to, they will get upset no matter how much "better" the new thing is. Changes are good, if you allow the old way to exist side by side.
Only really massive companies can get away with changing something for the worse and not allowing an old version, like Microsoft. And even them have "Classic Views" and stuff.

We noticed the same thing as well, we tank the Hunter/ Shaman together w/ the DPS focusing on the Hunter but killing the Totems when they spawned. We only had one drop before we killed the Hunter and the Shaman.
Also did anyone notice more healing agro being generated by the Murloc's on the Tidewalker fight? We either had a Lifebloom or Earth Shield Proc on the MT and the Murloc's turned around and went for him, that didn't wipe us as another Warrior AOE taunted and took them down to our Pally. We did however wipe on it 3 times though due to different healers pulling agro which hasn't been an issue for some time now my rank 6 HW(Shaman) pulled one time and it was only good for about 1400 health restored(rest of overheal).

This seemed to started happening to us about 4 weeks ago, during one of our last SSC clears. So it might not be a 2.4 thing.
EDIT: I'm referring to the healing aggro on Tidewalker murlocs bit.
