I believe that was only a druid specific bug, since I never got dual options on my non-druid characters.

I've been unable to find where any of the rare haste gem recipes drops. Has anybody had any luck locating these?
I've checked wowhead/thottbot, and visited the SSO rep vendor and JC trainer in game to no avail.

Confirming you can get reputation in Normal Magister's Terrace all the way to exalted. (I'm into revered now, and am still recieving reputation)

Now with 100% less Tpz!

And much much better rep per hour in normal runs that take 14-17 minutes.

I may be imagining it, but the "spikes" on rogue T5 / Shoulderpads of the Stranger seem a lot "Shinier" now. They really gleam as you move your camera around to look at them, and I'm pretty sure they didn't before.

I've been assuming they're random world drops like most of the other rare cuts, especially since they aren't on the SSO rep vendor like the new rare dodge/stam cut is.

Anyone else find the bombing run daily incredibly frustrating? I'm getting tons of killing blows on mobs that aren't showing up grey to me. I just did a run focusing entirely on Sorcerers and didn't manage to get credited for a single kill despite killing quite a few of them.
Also, why isn't the isle marked as a Sanctuary? Repair costs for trying to click on quest NPCs and instead hitting some random horde for 100 damage and having the guards kill me is getting old.

Where you maybe in a raid group? I find it easiest just to bind the bomb to a hotkey and do Alt+Z to hide your interface and just use the hotkey+targetting circle to bomb. Makes it much easier for me at least. I can usually do it in one pass now.

You could try showing friendly nameplates (shift+v is default) and clicking on those instead.

Yes, I've been noticing this as well. I had a run today where I killed four or five sorcerers and only ended up with credit for one, and I've had a similar thing happen with pitlords. This is also during off hours when not many other people are also doing runs, it is still taking me two flights to get credit for all the mobs each time.

You need to get the first hit on those mobs to tap them, the killing blow is irrelevant.

The bombing run is also made significantly easier by setting camera distance to 4. Not sure if this command still works but you should only need to use it once.
/script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMaxFactor","3.4")
By zooming out I can target sorcerers and pit lords much earlier

Also, face away from NPCs and click them from max range. Most likely any accidental misclicks will net you "You must be facing your target" instead of an instant repair bill.
p.s. Playing bear pinball with full tank gear and barkskin->bear form->faerie fire is fun.

The trick (as with any ranged aoe spell) is to use a thumb button on your mouse.

I've also seen them "evade" occasionally if i was taking a shot at one behind me while nearing max range.

They've redone the repair discounts versus reputation. Swinging by the Netherwing Ledge, I saw my repair bill was up to nearly 30g. So on the way the Scryer town in SMV to repair, I figured I'd save almost 3g just repairing over at Sanctum of the Stars, since pre-2.4 the discount was 10% off for honored and above, and no discount otherwise. It surprised me when my bill was closer to 25g rather than 27g. So I flew around and polled repair vendors at various reps:
29.7977g no rep
28.2291g honored ~5%
26.7093g revered ~10%
25.0926g exalted ~15%
Yes, I am the guy that doesn't repair before Chess in Kara.

Not sure about the Scryer neck, as I'm Aldor, but the Aldor exalted neck has a 45 second internal cooldown, and procs within 5 sec after the cooldown is up (so an average proc of every ~47 seconds).
|
If this is also the case for the Shattered Sun Pendant of Acumen, (spell power neck) that would mean it's absurdly good. If there are 50 seconds between procs, that's 20% uptime, which means the neck has effectively 61 spell power on it. That's likely the best necklace in the game for Shadow Priests, beating even Sunwell drops.

Just to clarify, it's not only repair costs, it's everything.
I noticed this when buying Demonic Figurines and Infernal Stones (of all things) in Orgrimmar.

There is indeed a hidden change to mobs in Sunwell Plataeu. Various confirmations of tanks are dodging 20-25%~ less, this maybe an intended change to compensate for the amount of avoidance on T6 and a "gear check" mechanic for raids trying to jump straight into Sunwell Plataeu.
SK-Gaming has also written an article about the change: SK Gaming | World of Warcraft: Sunwell Radiance - Hidden Buff on all SP Mobs?

The Scryer caster one is fairly amusing - it also procs on buffing, and will randomly send out a bolt to whatever enemy is close if not in combat. Nothing like pulling the third boss in MgT while buffing your party at the entrance!

This has been the case since the 2.3 patch actually, it's 5% at friendly, 10% at honored, 15% at revered and 20% at exalted.
Edit: Nevermind this post, I see that it's 5% lower than expected now. I missed the vital part of comprehend in between read and post.

I asked this on the European Professions forum but couldn't get an answer, so I'm going to try my luck here. Does anyone know where the Deathfrost enchant is from? Or was it scrapped before the patch went live? This is the enchant for those that are curious: Enchant Weapon - Deathfrost - Spells - World of Warcraft

My apologies if this isn't the right place to post this, but I've run into a strange bug (well, I'm not sure what it is) in WoW after the patch, and I'm just curious if anyone else have experienced this.
I first got it on my mage, I queued up for AB at the battlemaster, and when I zoned out from AB I was stuck in a running animation. I couldn't cast any spells, except non-instant ones, I couldn't mount up, and I couldn't log out. Blink worked in that it teleported me forward, but I was still stuck. I tried the unstuck feature, no luck. I hit Alt-F4 to quit WoW, logged back in and I was still stuck. I finally ended up having a guild member queue me up for a BG in Orgrimmar. I entered AV, zoned out and I was in Orgrimmar and could finally move about. Of course, the second i teleported (mage teleport) to Shattrah, I got stuck again.
The third time was when I hearthed to Shattrah on my druid. Zoned in, no problems, jumped down from the Scryer tier, hit Travel Form, ran for a couple of seconds and... I'm stuck. Same thing as on my mage, could only cast instant spells, couldn't log out, nothing.
I wrote a ticket about this, but the ticket was closed and I instead got an e-mail about a known issue regarding zoning and game freeze/disconnects or monitors going into sleep mode. They suggested running the repair tool, which I will do, once I get the full 2.4 patch downloaded. Still, I don't get disconnected nor does my monitor turn itself off, I just get stuck.
Oh, yeah, when I'm stuck, a lot of characters and NPCs seem to lag. This felhunter pet looked like it was on speed, just running in one spot, people flying by in what looked like a slideshow, choppy animations on nearby NPCs, etc.
And finally, the TL;DR version: I get stuck sometimes, so far mainly after zoning. Has anybody else experienced this?
