The 4 new epic gem patterns are available from the Mount Hyjal vendor for 4.5g each, as opposed to the 50g from the Shattered Sun guy at revered. Get them while they're hot.
Are you sure you didn't zone into a saved instance? We farm trash with the soft resets on the weekends between raid nights if the right bosses are down and it's not a problem. Kill everything, zone out for 30 minutes, go kill everything again.
How would there be a saved instance on a tuesday? He's saying this is a change as of today.

We cleared MH to Archi tonight and noticed our chat window said the instance would reset in 16 hours, but the Raid Info tab gave the normal 6 days and some-odd hours.
My comrades are my weapons, and I am their shield.
(Alternately, you can replace both instances of [help] with [noharm], but then it seems to occasionally get weird if you're trying to taunt off an enemy that's targeting a player.)
I was frustrated by taunt failing completely on Hyjal trash until I realized what was going on. If you're using a macro with [help], it won't even work if you target the friendly NPC directly.
Of course, disregard this entirely if you've already made that change / you used noharm in your original macro. I'm hoping that's what the issue is, because I'd otherwise be again useless on a fight because I'm not a Warrior.

This is probably intentional.
For those wondering how much gold drops have gone up by, incidentally, it seems to about 10g per boss for most bosses.
We noticed the giant Supremus but we noticed really small hitboxes on everything.
Yes I can seond that.
Seems every target (trash AND boss) have an EoS like hitbox now. It is kinda annoying because now you stand too close to boss, taking frontal cleave damage is more dangerous now.

I'm going to assume this is 10g more per player per boss, instead of total right?
Also 1 more noteworthy thing unless it's just my UI bugging out on me... battlegrounds now obscure the server that others are on. I did a WSG earlier to clear my daily and besides the people on my own server, everyone else had a tag that looked something like Mrjellydonut-US-BG3 instead of the usual Mrjellydonut-Frostmourne for example. Hope this makes the games more interesting.

Can you explain what you mean by an EoS hitbox? Is this small or large? Sorry for the noob question. :P
2-handers (staff and mace) on my Tauren druid are quite a bit smaller when sheathed on my back. When I wield it, the weapon reverts to the pre-2.4 size.

Ridiculously tiny. It's always been most noticable on Essence of Suffering since you're watching the target circle closely for his positioning; he's this big fucking 10m wide rock, but his circle is barely two meters ride.
Just finished our Kara run. Seems some undocumented changes to the Prince encounter.
We normally stay on the far left in two safe pockets, one for MT and one for Ranged. During phase 3 infernals were dropping directly on our MT and we had to move him. I'd say 4 infernals in a row that landed within 5 feet of our MT each time.
We've been farming him for badges for months and I've never seen infernals drop in the places they did tonight. Confirmed with our second Kara group tonight and there are a few other groups in there who will report back (they hadn't cleared to Prince yet).

We haven't run Kara for our week yet, but I think I know the spots you are talking about. We have had infernals land within damage range of our MT there and healed him through the combined Prince+infernal damage without too many issues, but have never had an infernal land on the ranged/healers. When you check with the other runs, can you confirm whether the ranged/healer safe spot is seeing infernals as well?
Basically I'm checking whether we need to issue a heads up for this weekend about a change from the usual routine.

Pretty sure you can forgo the macro altogether now, since Righteous Defense is now castable on hostiles.
Arcanite Dragonling and Mechanical Chicken trinkets have both had their cooldown reduced to 20 minutes down from 60, and unless I never noticed them before there appear to be a couple new hints on the logon screen.
Didn't see this mentioned, if you beat the first boss in heroic MT, then zone out and let the zone soft reset, you won't be abble to continue when you come back as the door will not open and the boss is no longer there.
If you use the Blizzard default buffs, they are now color-coded white and yellow. I think white is short duration, yellow is long, but I didn't try to decipher it.
Sounds: Some sounds can now play on top of each other. Previously, if you turned in a quest many times in a row (runecloth turn-in) it would only play the quest success sound when it had completed finished playing. Now, every time you complete a quest, it will play the sound, over top of it if it is already playing.
... and I just disenchanted them because I thought I'd never use them again. Oh well, guess the vindicator wrists + belt is a better combo anyway..
48 resilience vs. 52 resilience (67 with 3 steady seaspray)
83 stamina vs. 67 stamina (88 with 3 steady seaspray)
70 spell damage vs. 32 spell damage
1 yellow socket vs. 2 yellow sockets, 1 blue socket
Honestly I'd say its about even and depends on the players needs. With 3 of the now very reasonable priced steady seasprays you come out ahead on stamina by a little and resilience by a lot for the cost of 30 spell damage, and I personally prefer the greater versatility of 2 additional sockets to meet meta requirements or throw in some spell haste gems or whatever extra little spice I want to add. Also with the stamina options you could get the bracer +spell power enchant instead of the +stamina if you so chose, which helps to bridge the gap/give you more options.
When you consider it only costs gold or resources (I'm a tailor anyway) compared to grinding out another boring 30K in honor points it'd be worth it if it was even an outright minor negative on every stat. Considering its instead possibly superior in a few stats for trade offs in others, I think the Unyielding is preferable.
The new kaliri are as vicious as advertised, but I'm pretty sure they've tightened up the aggro radius on the birds.

We just need someone to pull Prince and just not kill him for 10 minutes, then take a screenshot. Preferably a shot with the minimap visible by a warlock or someone with a detect demons elixir active. Just keep Prince alive so we can find out where every single infernal drops at.
If they did change Prince, obviously Blizzard is biased against casuals. </stupid>
Will It fall under the same possible loot-reset mechanic?
Or would that be a waste of bank space?
I think the conclusion from that thread was that the loot within a container only changes if the underlying loot table changes. So in theory the content can change, but only if blizzard adds/removes items from the loot table or changes the drop rate etc.
It seems that Void Reaver in TK no longer temporarily switches target to ranged players before lobbing an orb at them. Boss mods that rely on VR's target switching to announce incoming orbs no longer function properly, so players have to actually watch the air to figure out if any orbs are headed toward their general area.

Is this specific to VR, or does it apply to all random secondary target abilities? If the latter, that will have a significant impact on parry strings when the boss turns round to target someone behind the melee.

Let's see, archimonde targets other people, Gorefiend does, Azgalor. Probably some others as well.
Buffs are tracked as well however, so gorefiend and azgalor shouldn't see any big differences in notification.
Bigwigs does rely on such random targetting to apply raid warnings such as incoming VR orbs or incoming Airbursts from archi so that may cause some difficulty.
