No he wasnt. We seriously had Druids getting warriors with blue weapons 1850, and then they would immediately buy their weapon and go to 2k with them. It wasn't an abnormal thing, and although their gear may not have been totally blue.....its still ridiculous.

I'm not seeing how you beat any popular comp if your warrior is a terrible keyboard turner putting out 300 dps and not pummeling anything. Don't get me wrong, playing a warrior in dru/war is not rocket science but you do need to have an elementary grasp on the arena metagame to kill, well, any class with a mana bar pretty much. There are also, believe it or not, classes that can kill a resto druid if they are not being controlled well enough by the warrior.
If this is some 1700 or 1800 quality warrior, then that's fine. But you are not getting JimmyMcFresly70 2k if he doesn't know how to not die to every popular 2dps team, among other things.
"use spell reflect now!"
"what's that?"

They would coach them obviously.
I was just confirming the selling of PR by druids to blue geared warriors.

Pretty much. I'm not exaggerating at all.
And you can still get carried to a certain extent. My S1/blues Rogue (stuff like [Fitz's Throwing Axe], [Band of Anguish]) hit 1700 in 2s pretty quickly with a full S3 Mage.

S1 gear (which has plenty of resillience) + 2 blue items is a far cry from a "blue geared warrior". Also, 1700 is a far cry from 2k.
It's an outlandish statement. You're referring to s1 geared warriors who most likely have arena experience as blue geared warriors which makes it seem as though they are fresh 70's with 8k hp and 0 resillience.
But whatever this is just becoming a pointless argument over semantics at this point.

For fuck's sake, I realise they're different. But why are you hellbent on arguing this? I didn't say they were in all blue gear. You can't disprove it and I've already had people back me up on it. If you still don't believe it, I don't give a shit. Point is, people can still get "carried", through skill or gear differences, depending on the role they play in a team.
And 1700 in the first week is pretty damn close to 2k pre-reset.

Could bg play a role?
2x ses3 dps team that focus on a blue warr (say sp/lock) with nointelligent use of spellreflect. Most players are very good at focusing lowgeared players. And lets say vs that team, the second you try to do anything to alleviate the dmg(cept healing, which wont be enough) You open yourself to a cc-chain of dc-fear-silence that certainly will raep your warrior whose prolly in zerkstance 24/7. You cant bet on outmanaing/drinking in any fights either since the second you go for that they will burst your warrior down.
My only explanation is that it must be a shitty bg you play in, but whatever.

You quoted someone in the Stormstrike battlegroup and then indicated his point of view was a function of the shitty BG he belonged to. You clearly don't know shit about battlegroups.

As a warrior who plays a druid I can easily tell any warrior exactly what they need to be doing, what stance to go in, who to attack, etc. Really the only determining factor to how high I can take them is generally how stupid they are with a small modifier of how much hp/resil they have. Also, not every game is vs a counter-comp or even a difficult comp. Most of the time you are facing stuff like priest/rogue where you can't even really lose if you wanted to. Healer/dps is 99% on the druid and 1% on the warrior to remember to hamstring people. Mage/rogue is almost 100% on the druid. Lock/rogue takes some skill by the warrior but its generally an easier match. Spriest/rogue is difficult even if the warrior/druid play flawlessly so losing to that comp is not embarrassing. Anything else is a gimmick setup that you probably wont see more then 2-3 times total over the course of your grind.
Basically what this means is, yes, a good druid can take any old blueberry warrior to at least 1800 in s4 right now, which is pretty close to what 2k was at the end of s3 skill-cap wise right now.

Have you even played any 2's games this season? You cannot honestly believe that right now, in early s4, a good druid can take "any old blueberry warrior" to 1800. Sorry, not happening.
Although I guess maybe my unfounded claims that you can't are just as outlandish as your claims that they can since neither of us have any evidence to back it up.
Other than the fact that 1600-1750 is brutal right now for a dru/warr setup with tons of very skilled double dps teams and the fact that rogues in s3/s4 gear put out so much damage and have so many "close to death" escape mechanisms that even priest/rogue is turning into a tough fight even in that bracket.
Although maybe it's just a fluke that me (2038 last season) and my warrior partner (2274) last season are struggling to 1800.
The worst part of it right now is that they are NEW double dps teams. Not FrMage/Rogue, Double Rogue, or Spriest/Rogue which we learned to deal with.
Last night we got farmed by a feral druid/ BM hunter team for 4 losses. First match we saw they were BM and Feral and laughed "Easy win".
Then they ran me OOM with very very good play and we got serious. Every match was close but they always ran me oom since they have insane amounts of CC and basically 2 pets that I cannot get away from to drink with very high burst potential and being able to keep my warrior off of them with ease. We had very little damage output outside of me coming in to control them which led to a target switch and me running away and eating a tick or 2 of viper stings (or worse getting bashed in caster after being forced to heal and eating almost a full viper sting)
Kill the pet, Druid cyclones me and roots the warrior, hunter gets another pet out. We even ran the hunter oom in 2 games but aspect of the viper + the fact that he was NE and I couldn't keep the druid off me for more than 6-9 seconds at a time (and well geared feral druids do a ton of damage) Barkskin + Hibernate worked a few times but rarely since all he had to was shift to cancel the cast.
That team is essentially just as hard to kill as Marks/Resto except they do a ton more damage and don't let me drink ever.
I think you're going to see a lot more feral druids popping up this season. People are starting to realize that a well played feral druid is very scary. Another team that gave us a very good run for our money was Ret Pally/Feral
I don't think that team will see much success post 1750 but they played it well, the game lasted a while and I had a few close calls. Definitely have to stay on your toes as resto vs that team.

The World of Warcraft Armory
This guy is borderline awful, it's his third alt, most of that gear he just got in the last 5 days. I got him over 1700 in week 2 with a stormherald and blue neck, boots, bracers, ring, shield, low and/or no stam pve gear and in pretty limited amount of games because playing with him is painful. If I were to keep playing with him 1800 would be nothing, accomplished within a day easily and our loses would be because he's slow and unresponsive when required target basically anything.
The World of Warcraft Armory
An even gimper rogue, again got a lot of his gear recently (and it's not even that good), we were over 1800 last night easily before my internet decided to stop working (I was not even properly specced for rogue/druid either). Side note, pooping on apylon geared warriors with a rogue in magisters terrace gear is pretty hilarious, though resto shaman with 11k mana and a billion mp/5 are not.
Melee is out of control and druids are still as powerful as ever. Funny part is, I'm not even a good druid. So there's two players that I've shown their gear and they are both alts of players with arena experience yes, but not on those classes and definitely not with bad gear.
As far as your actual comment.. A team that has 3 snares, all on the same person, one being on a 10 second cd, one being a thirty second cd, and one requiring them to pretty much stop dps to apply, should be pretty much a joke and easy points. They are called pillars, stand behind them. The same goes for ret pally/feral, a melee team dependent on mana, beating an outlast comp? LOL, no. That only happens when you don't know what you're doing. If your warrior focuses his energy on keeping the person closest to you away from you at all times, you can never lose this game, or any one like it. In fact, that is basically the principal of defensive druid/warrior play, if the other team is threatening the druid, keep them away from you, let you drink, dps dps and dps some more, and win eventually. Same thing applies when the roles are reversed, if they are trying to kill your warrior you keep them away from him, let him get away, hot hot and hot some more, and let him kill something. This is why people say the comp can be played by brain dead children. Because at the fundamental level it basically can. If you play defensively like that 99% of the time you will be very successful.

You really have absolutely no idea what you're talking about here.
The hunter was never DPSing us, we were LoSing him the entire time. You cannot snare a feral druid and hes faster in cat form than I am in travel form and his dps is sick plus he shifts, roots and cyclones. Oh and he can heal and innervate too. But one bash + full viper sucks a lot of mana away.
They can force me to heal and shift and waste a lot of mana on cyclones without ever being able to drink. A BM's pet alone is a heartache to kill and does a lot of damage. Please don't say they are easy points unless you've experienced it first hand. You really have no idea what you're talking about. You can't attack the hunter because the druid will CC the shit out of the warrior, you can't attack the feral because he will laugh at you in bear form and keep you in LoS of his hunter. Go fight a skilled feral/bm team and tell me it's easy points. Go ahead. With your blueberry warriors.
This is like a druid/hunter outlast team except the druid can deal a ton of damage and force me to do nothing but heal because of his CC capability. They catch me in a bad spot and the hunter intimidates me and burns BW while the druid controls my warrior. You simply cannot kill one of them before they run you oom. This is a harder matchup than Spriest / Rogue.
The only way we had any success at keeping them defensive was to kill their pet a few times (we cant keep the pet dead because of the druids cc and 4 second revive (or is it 6 second, cant remember)) It doesnt help the hunter was NE and could drink at his leisure

I think you missed the point of my thread, which was that when/if you do lose, and you shouldn't but that is another discussion, you queue up again. The queues are 1 minute long, at most. If you lose, take it like a man, requeue, and get your points back. If you face counter-comps and "hard" matches every single match you ever play, you are the unluckiest person in WoW.

My warrior was over 2100 with a blue weapon (and many, many pieces of blue and green armor), and top 10 in my battlegroup with a hammer of the naaru. The importance of gear is somewhat overstated by most people here, I think. When people say "blue geared" I imagine they likely mean "has a number of non-epic pieces" (of which the weapon is the most important) rather than all actual blue items. Keep in mind that "blue geared" now with the rep rewards means something very different than it did a few patches ago, as well.
