Well that's interesting and probably really troublesome for frost mages and especially in PvP. I'm not close to a computer with WoW access right now but I'll have to check and see if it can be targeted or resurrected. Otherwise it is just an annoying bug as opposed to a hilarious and potentially exploitable one.

Attempting to use the low level quest that was introduced in 2.3 with the Dustwallow Marsh revamp that allows Alliance to teleport from Stormwind to Theramore no longer works (at least for level 70s - it's probably level capped) and Archmage Malin now says "Forgive me, but I am spent and cannot use my magic to send you back Theramore [sic]. You have the look of a worldly adventurer about you; surely you know of another way to reach Theramore in time [sic]."
Good thing I'm a mage!

Haha, funny to seem them "nerf" this quest. I guess it is time that I turn it in now. We have the Tanaris CoT teleport now anyway, which wasn't present when the first people noticed this little trick.

Apparently a lot more abilities use the Bloodlust sound effect now: Mind Soothe, Magister's Terrace's first boss, the Murlocs in Quel'danas, etc. etc.

Apparently any enrage-like ability now uses this sound effect. At first I wondered how our Shaman was popping bloodlust so often, then I realized it was happening every time the warrior popped Bloodrage. I've since noticed mobs doing it when they "become enraged" and if I'm not mistaken trolls when they berserk.
I used to like hearing that sound - it was like a special sign that I was about to do more DPS, something I was fond of. One day into the new patch and I'm tired of it.

There are two new vendors standing next to the portal to IQD in Shatt, one sells the new badge loot and the other sells epic gems. Should save people a trip to the Isle if they only want to buy an item.
Edit: There is also a new Mage trainer in Theramore, he's in Jaina's tower.

Mobs appear to have normal size hitbox circles (the red thing) again.
Darkspine Ore Chests on the Isle of Quel'danas now have the sparkly quest item animation. - hm, dont know about this one yet, as now it doesnt sparkle anymore.

If you post long messages in chat that take several lines, all lines after the first ones start a bit further left.
This seems to prevent people typing funny things like "Aha. [Guild][Randomperson]: I am dumb!"

After a ton of wipes in a PuG HMgT because of 'new' mechanics, I have observed the following:
1) Sunblade Keeper, the elf that appears from time to time to feed the mana wyrmlings, seem to respawn more often after a wipe on the second boss.
2) You can no longer use the lamps to negate the debuff when killing the adds on the 2nd boss
3) The warlock and her imp on the 3rd boss encounter seem to have been buffed (I'm not sure about this one, it just might be that our group was undergeared and the warlock was doing quite abit of damage. The imp seems to have more hp than the other imps found in the instance)
4) Lastly, kael doesn't die immediately anymore. He gets to perform a lengthly animation that goes with his death speech before becoming lootable

They seem to have added a more convenient means to repair for Aldor people. There's now an Engineering Supplies vendor just outside the inn, tucked by the mailbox. Could be I never noticed him before, but he's not currently coming up in Wowhead.

Could be a coincidence that it happened right after the patch, but Vashj had a bug last night. In phase 3 when she got to ~35%, her health suddenly jumped up to ~80%. Phase 3 continued as normal. She did not go to phase 2 after we got her back down to 70%. She never evaded or actually reset, just regained nearly 50% of her health. It was very strange.

We've had that happen before, so it may or may not be a new bug that is causing the same issue as pre-existing bug.

We had no problems resetting kalecgos last night. Just arcane shot and immediately fd, you're not im combat due to shot travel time so it cant resit, kalecgos despawns as soon as it hits him.

Two new vendors have been added around the Isle of Quel'danas portal in Shattrath. Presumably like their counterparts on the Isle itself they'd need to be unlocked first, but one of them sells the badge gear, while the other sells the epic gems and gem designs.

That was always his leash behavior. Pulling and feigning is different than leashing him.

Was it a paladin with [Libram of Mending] using it? After experiencing this and some testing, I found if Grace of the Naaru (proc from Libram of Mending) is active, I get no MP5 from [Pendant of the Violet Eye] click. If no Grace of the Naaru, Pendant works fine. As I keep Grace up constantly, I finally swapped out my Pendant
This has been happening since at least 2.4 - I didn't use LibMending before that.

Hunter pets are bugged in spectral realm of Kalecgos. They attack the demon once and stop attacking even if you set them on aggressive. You have to keep pressing pet attack button for it to do any damage. They work fine on the dragon form though.

For what it's worth, we had a holy paladin complaining about this exact issue last night. He logged out in his PvP gear so I can't definitely see what Libram he was using.

I've had problems with the pendant of the violet eye since long before 2.4.2.
More info: Since 2.4.0 at least, it has not been building stacks off of holy light or flash of light.

Something I haven't seen mentioned: Wretched Devourers at the new daily hub now only drain 370 mana instead of their previous 1390 mana. Haven't went to check out the Blood Elf mobs in Terokkar Forest's Firewing Point to see if they also got nerfed.

I didn't see this in the patch notes. Apparently, the Terokkar non-flying fishing areas have been rebalanced to require higher fishing skill. Prepatch, I've never had any problems with fish getting away while doing the blackfin darter quest in terokkar, but now I am losing fish left and right.
