I've never seen this mentioned in any strategy guide I've read...and I've read a lot of them. Can anyone confirm this?

I can semi-confirm this, though it's not so much as when one of your raid leaves the room as when one of the Twins leaves the room.

The reason I ask is that we tried our 1st run on the Eredar Twins and we wiped twice when the person with conflagration ran out the door and wiped the ranged standing by the pillar. We confirmed that the person did run from the raid because his body was at the entrance. So we're wondering if having the conflagration run out the door caused the wipe.

Nope. The raid died because the person didn't run fast enough. I've blinked before just as the bolt hit me, and although my corpse is a mile away from the raid, everyone still died.
And no, going outside the room doesn't cause the instant explosion - for one thing, it's what many people do each week, especially mages. And the second clue should have been that your melee didn't die - if the "kill everything" explosion was triggered, everyone would have died instantly.

So the conflagration appears where the person was standing after the 3 second cast and not where he's standing after the cast?

Correct. You have to move as soon as the raid warning tells you before the cast is finished. Putting her on focus with a Target of Target + cast bar really helps some people.

If you have raid members consistently ignoring the warnings on bigwigs and dbm, get them to install twin cam. It puts really really large skull on your head, turns your screen to red, and adds that "run little girl" sound clip from big bad wolf.
You can't miss it.
Personally I found twincam obtrusive. I use this addon for bigwigs instead

BigWigs comes with this by default, more or less. Look for Shake 'n Flash in the Extras (or maybe plugins). If you turn it on it will blink dark blue across your entire screen and also shake your view. This is not specific to the twins fight, it works on almost all situations where you get targeted by some dangerous ability or if you are "standing in the fire".

Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but during the trash, our healers noticed their heals being doubled (chain heal non-crits for 10k) Not sure what triggers it, but lets just say it made Twins very easy. Any confirmation as to if it has to do with Twins or the trash or what?

It is likely a bug with tree of life aura that was supposedly fixed but is not.

You can definitely use a melee tank. Just don't sleep into blazes =)

I'm interested to try this, how do you go about resetting the flame touched in phase 1? Do you simply ignore it?

We've seen this every week post-patch. It seems to only trigger at some point on the gauntlet: we have run the gauntlet with 3 trees at least twice since patch so not sure if an aura bug is a contributory factor or not. When Wild Growth initially hits for something in the 1k range and HST ticks for under 500 and Holy Lights and Greater Heals crit for something like 24k and 28k (not to mention Chain Heal crits), you really do notice it. It does fade some time after you leave the gauntlet section as we discovered in Twins room this week while we were waiting for a disconnect to rejoin and some swaps were made.

Are any of your trees getting mind controlled by chance?

Not that I recall, at least I don't recall eating Mind Control myself. Mind Controled ones do tend to get dispelled rather fast so I honestly would need to check with our other trees or via as to whether or not they recall being MC'd even momentarily. I don't think we'd have the parses for that trash to double check either; I'll try make some more notes/investigations next reset on the assumption we get the healing bug again.

P2
I apologize if this has been asked already, I skimmed through some of this post, but not all, and I have not seen an answer to my question.
My guild spent our first full night on Twins tonight, it was pretty frustrating in all, but we had a few good attempts and near the end of the night we were consistently getting around 20% P1 before someone blew the raid up.
On one of the attempts we managed to get Sacrolash down and we all hopped down, we wiped shortly after starting P2 (Alythess at 48%) I have heard that making it to P2 is pretty much a win. What happened was suddenly our raid began taking VERY high amounts of raid damage, we went from having everyone alive, to the entire raid dead within 10 seconds.
In phase 2, you only take shadow novas, getting the dark touched debuff (hopefully this is correct) which reduces healing, first, is this a sort of soft enrage? meaning you have to kill her before the healing debuff stacks to high?
When I checked the combat log after the wipe I noticed most of the raid members were dying from Blaze, I am not entirely sure if it was from after the Warlock tank died or not, But the damage just seemed incredibly high. I can get a WWS parse tomorrow if that helps, but I really don't understand what killed us so quickly.

Sounds like your Warlock tank dropped a Blaze in the raid. Because theres 24 people clumped up so tight, it would be very difficult to see. He was most likely too slow to move out after running in for Shadow Nova.

Alternatively it might be the case that someone got aggro and thus got a blaze dropped in the raid. It's easier than it sounds nowadays.

This was a problem for us the first time we got to them after the patch. People were catching up quickly and pulled aggro just long enough for one Blaze cast.
Solution: Just have the warlock sit in Blaze longer when you go to P2 to build more threat. If people still can't drop threat, have them run out of the pile if they are getting dangerously close. Also be careful that your other tanks aren't going full bore "dps" with defensive stance/RF/etc up because they can easily catch up as well depending on how long p1 took.
