From a lore perspective, its no different from having a warlock curse affect frost or arcane. That being said, lore is often ignored when game mechanics require it. Hell, from a lore perspective, a warlock and paladin in the same group doesn't make sense.

Vanilla had 14 slot bags as cheapies, 16 slot bags as craftables/rare drops, and 18 slot bags as raid drops/quests/epic craftables.
TBC had 16 slot bags as cheapies, 18 slot bags as craftable, and 20 slot bags as epic craftables and now a drop in MrT.
If Blizzard expands bagspace at all in WotLK, 22 slot bags are the logical extension of this pattern for best bags.
On the one hand, 4800G is a huge amount, but on the other hand, the bags probably won't be a waste at all. They'll take you through next expansion, probably until the end of that cycle when they need a new gold sink and allow 24-slotters.
I doubt anyone is going to buy these for their bank though. I find it hard to believe people wouldn't be able to shunt off some stuff to alts, or even just AH/mailbox juggle it, rather than spending 1200G for 2 more bank slots.

I would assume it means the creature will not switch targets if, after the effect of the stun, someone is over 100% threat (but not over 110% melee or 130% at range). Currently when you stun something, they lose their main target, and then when they come out of the stun the main target gets recalculated. If this change reads the way I think it does, then the creature will remember their main target before the stun.

I do hope that they have 2 or 4 slot "purses" for sale in addition to the actually useful 22 slot bags. It's the little touches that makes WoW the game it is.

Heh, I misunderstood your first post and thought there was some funny back story to Haris Pilton selling these items. That's what I was curious about.
Anyways, don't mind me.

Well having just pushed yet another character through that quest chain all I can say is "about damn time". The drop rate there had to be one of the worse that remained. It wasn't uncommon to kill three to four times the number of mobs for the drops needed. Adding in the skinning bonus for the skins puts them in line with the yetis in Feralas.
With the reduction in level required to get mounts will they in turn reduce Aspect of Pack to a lower level requirement? Coming when it did it really helped with group movement but is of limited use except when carting lower level characters around.

Off topic for a bit, but I'm looking through the MPQ's and apparently Fel Boars got new sound effects. They sound crazy demonic now.

Aspect of the Pack is already level 20. Travel Form is the one I'm curious about, as it was 30 (which now coincides with mounts).
EDIT: That was supposed to be Cheetah. Move along.

Do not confuse Pack(level 40) with Cheetah(level 20).

I would much prefer to pay for one more bag slot on my character. That way I could determine which need I desired to fill most. Currently I have found it cheaper to just max out character slots in the bank and spin up my old guild for storage characters to access. I think the real problem is that the ROI just becomes impossible to justify. When you reduce it down to "just two more slots at 600 gold each" it really begs the question, what are you carrying?
I found it very valuable to sit down and optimize my inventory. It also was a very good exercise to optimize my storage across all characters isolating specific items by character. This made it easier to set myself up going forward, especially in stocking up for the next expansion and getting up and running without pause.

I would gladly spend 1200g for a 22 slot (or even 20 slot) backpack. To upgrade just from a 20 slot bag to a 22 slot one, not so much.
The combined warlock curse being released now I think bodes extremely well for the possibility that other skill adjustments and optimizations we've seen crop up in the WotLK Alpha will be released sooner rather than later.

I'm curious if rather than one big "3.0" patch, we'll be seeing more incremental rollouts of abilities.

What does LO currently do with low-level LBs?
EDIT @the post above me: We still will see a 3.0 patch with the 51-point talents and such, most likely.

It wouldn't surprise me at all. As soon as 2.0 came out, a lot of servers had essentially dead raiding scenes because people decided it "wasn't worth it". If they roll them out sooner, people play around with it more before the dead time.
I'd also bet they'd be big on convincing people to get used to playing with fewer of any given class. If they get people more willing to play with more fluid raid makeups, it'll pave the way for adding the extra class. Everyone already knew how kick-ass Paladin and Shaman buffs were, Death Knights might need a little more help getting shoehorned in.

Interesting point, but they'd be really killing themselves in terms of testing required for something like this. It really does make more sense to just dump everything out at once... except for the fact that the 3.0 changes would break certain encounters.
Edit: I mean breaking encounters in a way that would make them much harder or near impossible. I doubt they care much about making fights easier. All the top guilds have already experienced hard-mode sunwell, T6, and T5, so nerfs are not really a problem. Warrior shield block changes, for example, would be pretty harsh for any crushing boss. It would also force either passive shear immunity or good luck on Illidan.

You mean like how 2.0 allowed Loatheb to be 5 manned? It could just be the indirect way of nerfing Sunwell, without having to actually nerf the fights.

Any change in the WotLK alpha that makes you say "why don't they do that now," I'm hoping they do it, well, now. I don't expect major talent or class changes to be filtered in, but tweaks and adjustments that would benefit the game now, there's no good reason to hold them back for 3.0.
I also wonder if the thread on this forum, and the universally positive reception to the CoE change, led them to decide to push it in early.

The sad part is if/when they release the WotLK talents to us pre-WotLK, priests still will not be able to go deep Holy with the fact that we have been, and seem to always will be tied down to at least 14 points in discipline.

I'm hoping that Haris Pilton sells pet bags, which allow you to put 30-40 non combat pets/mounts inside. My girlfriend regularly carries around2-3 bags worth of the damn things . . . .

Considering one of the rumored "achievements" in Wrath is to collect a certain number of vanity pets, this might not be such a bad idea. I know that I personally carry half a dozen mounts with me at any given time, along with a couple pets, and a dozen more pets waiting in the bank. It's just a shame that so many pets and mounts are rare drops or one-time opportunities (or, in the case of Children's Week, once a year), so people are extremely reluctant to delete them for the sake of bank space.
