Lightning Capacitor Mechanics
TLC is referenced in so many threads....... with so many conflicting definitions.
Every time I -think- I understand how this trinket works across all the classes I find a new post that contradicts my beliefs.
I'd really appreciate posts from individuals who actually own the trinket to weigh in with some empirical data (or references to same) that help to definitively nail down the exact mechanics.
Popular assertions that I've seen debated:
(1) Uses Intellect-based spell-crit (most folks agree on this)
(2) Uses talents for dmg-multiplication provided the wording says "all spells". (I see all sorts of conflicts on this, but mostly "yes")
(3) Uses talents for spell-hit provided the wording says "all spells" (lots of conflicts)
(4) Uses talents for spell-crit provided the wording says "all spells" (lots of conflicts, but mostly "no")
(5) #2,#3,#4 provided "nature spells"
(6) #2,#3,#4 provided "explicit spell name is 'lightning bolt' (shamanistic love)
(7) 2.5sec cooldown triggered by bolt prevents charges from building
(8) 2.5sec cooldown triggered by bolt just prevents 3rd charge
(9) lightning bolt released triggers secondary spell hit/miss/crit mechanics (lots of conflicts, but mostly "no")
(10) has a built-in 5% spell-hit
(11) crits only do 150% regardless of talents (but what about chaotic skyfire diamond?)
I'm tired of updating my simulator based upon "whoever talked to me last". I'd love to have this one definitively answered.
