Just wondering if EJ plans to branch out to some of the other newer mmorpgs coming out later this year . Its fun to play on mal'ganis with you guys so was wondering if I should keep an eye out or not as the case maybe.

I couldn't ever get into the PvP scene. It was always just rock-paper-scissors: figure out what the FotM build was, skew your group to compensate. So we had the healing bond trios when everyone was running 6 warriors, then switched to curses and interrupts when everyone switched to knockdown/ward elementalists. at least to me it just seemed like that sorta progression was going to keep going in circles forever.

I get way too obsessed with specific games to ever play anything besides that one game over and over :(

Games I've played: Wolf 3d, Doom, Doom 2, Quake 1-3, Action Quake, Starcraft, Warcraft, World of Warcraft, see if you notice the pattern

Action Quake 2 (with and without the gangsters mod) is the best game ever made and if anyone ever says anything different than that then they deserve to be hanged.

Seriously, it just never did get any better than that game, although Action Half-Life came really, really close once they got their shit figured out.

Ok, you're almost correct, i somehow forgot about that game. Although AQ2 was better, Tribes was really, really close. Now that I think about it, I was still using a 56k connection at the time :2monocle:

I loved that game too.

Indeed - DnD online is intruiging . Theres another game out that will have psions in it as well - although i forget the exact name >< .
Wow is amazing and all but unless they revamp hunters ( and the pets ! ) and make them decent, I am tempted by other games :P

I do fine as a hunter :P I just want more out of the pets which are virtually useless at high end raids.

I have a hunter alt at level 43 and even before high end raids, I find my pet totally useless. Let's hope the hunter revamp in the next patch will solve some of the classes problem, unlike the Warlock revamp which I found to be utterly disappointing.

At 43 your pet should still be able to tank for you.

And while I understand your pet concerns, I still find uses for my pet now and then, and they say they'll get new abilities--but I do fine without my pet for the most part :P

It's probably because he's twinked. If you have the best possible weapon for your ranged slot at any given time, you pet will be fine in the x0-x5 range, usable in x6-x7, and very very hard to use in the x8-9 range. My hunter is full beast with all the +damage skills and I used to use the autocontrol mod that maximizes DPS and hate, and I would still regularly pull mobs off it if I did anything other than HM -> Serpent Sting -> Autoshoot.

Not all that seriously. It's a cheap gimmick in between BWL raids and CTF matches, really.

Speaking of which - why does PG never do CTF? I see pretty much every other Alliance guild in there, but never more than one-two PG in pickup groups.
