Has anyone actually found the recipe for this yet? I have yet to locate it.

Does anyone have any information concerning the removal of the extra glyph that inscribers were going to be able to get? I was stockpiling herbs to plvl inscription at 3.0 so I could have 4 majors at lvl 80. However, with this subtraction to the proffession it seems that inscription is not a viable end game raiding profession. Thanks in advance.

Inscription gets improved versions of the Shoulder enchants now at level 80, no benefit to at it level 70 though. It's 64 more attack power, 37 more spell power, or 32 more dodge rating over what you get from the normally available version of the enchants. And that's basically roughly equal to what other professions get as permanent benefits (E.G. benefits that aren't linked to BoP items you might make that you might end up replacing).\

Plus you get 15 minute "Hearthstone Scrolls"!

The hearthstone scrolls send you to random towns over level 40, I believe.

Um, unless it's changed, it sends you to your own hearth location. It's a carbon copy of Astral Recall.

Not having to grind sons of hodir to exalted is a massive bonus, as you can only do 1000 rep a day (and thus it will take around a month of 4x daily a day)

There's higher "ranks" of the Scrolls now. Rank 2 works up to level 70 and requires ink made from Outland herbs, rank 3 works up to level 80 and requires ink made from Northrend herbs.

To further elaborate on what Chicken just said, and explain why everyone's actually right on this one...

The objects have ranks. "Scroll of Recall", "Scroll of Recall II", et cetera.

They have level requirements on them. But the level requirements don't stop you from using them. They make them unpredictable instead.

If at 80th level you use the first scroll, it might take you home, or it might take you to a random location.

If you use the one intended for your own level range, it always takes you exactly where you want to go.

Can't you wear their tabard in instances and get rep as well?

Are there items one could buy from the AH to get exalted?

This frankly seems the best reason yet to be an inscriber on your raiding main. Then drop inscription once you are finally exalted if you would prefer a different profession.

After looking over a few guides and wanting to power level my DK from 1-450 blacksmithing I compiled a guide for myself and for my guildies on a relatively painless process to follow when skilling up. That is if you can consider mining 600 iron bars, 400 thorium, and loads of stone to weigh donw 2 bank tabs painless

Google Docs - bsmith

It goes from 1-450 using 90% trainers to do it. Granted there are a few small areas you'll want to have some mats for and my spreadsheet has padded accordingly. If you have all this on hand from day 1 you can crush your way through blacksmithing in as long as it takes for you to ship the materials around. 1-350 is about 2600 items so that's 300 bank slots full. Wrath is about 700 items.

Please comment on this and let me know if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

Nope nothing.. no mobs, no items, no quests after around honored, a non-human would probably need to do 40 days of dailies to hit exalted. Which is obviously a huge pain for alts.

I've also found two designs off non-instance mobs, both in Storm Peaks and both BoP. One was from mobs that only seem to spawn for a quest though, the ambushers when you mine the giants for the Sons of Hodir quest.

Sounds like they're dropping primarily in Level 80 instances.

Good. I've been planning on switching my tank's professions from Mining/Herbalism to Mining/Jewelcrafting. But if most of the good BOP recipes show up later in the game, then I'll hold on to Herbalism until at least level 64 (maybe longer if gathering is more valuable than the JC dailies).

Thanks. Exactly what I needed to know.
