ugh ok. by then theyll hotfix it RIGHT? w/e
so how goes firemaw? find a way so he doesn't "watch" the melee? i don't remember where i read taht post.

Ha, no. We're not using any exploitative measures. Though I wasn't there the night the serious work on him was done, so I can't answer about his progress.

oh, no i didn't know that meant exploit. i thought it was like they had to be sw of his left leg or something.
i just read another post, im guessing it has to do with his aoe. |

The hotfix to the first 3 bosses has already gone live. Like Gurg said, we'll be getting a shot at them in 2.5 days.
Our next attempts at Firemaw are going to be Saturday :) |

Basically, on Firemaw, if you can do melee damage to him without being hit by his fire aura, you are abusing LOS.
The way the game is designed, if you have LOS on the mob, they MUST have LOS on you, any way around that is clearly exploiting, and we wont do it.
That said, we have developed a strategy that we know will work, we just didnt get enough time on our last attempt to get the kinks out. With any luck, our next attempt at him will have him down.
