So with 75% being the max chance to resist there is no benefit to going beyond 300 for a level 60 spell, correct?

There are spells higher than level 60.

315 is the highest you need. Many mobs are level 63 including ragnaros and onyxia.

... with 295 for level 59 305 or 61 etc. :-)
