Our boy Arthas misses his home. Still, I guess we can't infer anything from this in terms of a possible redemption of the young prince. However, more and more I get the impression that the sword is...behind all this. Us investigating the sword's "secrets", Icecrown's description stating that "both" the Lich King and his runesword, Frostmourne, await us...
Edit:
By the way, I'm liking the Warrior T10 a lot, but it's really a pity that they keep changing Saurfang's armor ever since he gave his to Junior. He could have had a replica made.
(Erased the beard, sword and such references to the T10 DK model, was just repeating what was said above)

Looks like the new 5 mans won't be available as soon as 3.3 goes live. This is the Quote from Daelo.
"Feedback for the Pit of Saron goes here. Most phasing issues should be solved for the portals now, the end event was completed for both Alliance and Horde this push, and Garfrost also has his final model. Other tuning and bug fixes were also done since last week."
When you give feedback, please mention the difficulty you attempted and your gear level.

I don't think the datamined orc is Saurfang Jr, I clearly see green skin underneath the helmet and Saurfang Jr had brown skin. The models are probably the leaders of the aerial assault.

There isn't a data-mined Orc DK model yet.

One can argue though that the NPCs skin is too dark to be Darions though which would be ok for Bolvar considering what happened.

On the other hand, I wouldn't be surprised if they updated Darion with one of the DK specific skin tones since he'll be an actor in Icecrown.

The phasing issue he was referring to was if you had reached the Orbaz Bloodbane quest in Icecrown, you were in a phased Icecrown in which the instances didn't exist.

Well, it was Frostmourne which originally corrupted Arthas. And the sword and armor were orginally forged by the Burning Legion, right? Maybe there's some angle there.
In all likelihood, however, I think that it's just that Frostmourne is more identifiably Arthas's than the Warglaives were identifiably Illidan's. Especially to people who don't follow lore closely.
Also, there's exactly a 0% chance of Arthas being redeemed. Tirion destroyed his heart and gave up any hope of redemption for him. Even if the sword was behind it all, there's nothing left of him. And before he had even heard of Frostmourne, he destroyed Stratholme and he burned his men's ships and betrayed the mercenaries to their deaths. I'm not going to say that any of those things are unforgivable, but he wasn't a shining beacon of the Light before his conversion.

At this point, and based on Metzen's demeanor at Blizzcon, it's a safe bet Arthas will in fact be killed and that chapter of the book will be closed.
On the other hand, Warcraft in general has far too many characters that become corrupted and turn evil, and commit atrocities, and far too few that come back and swing the other way. The Undead characters aside that died and were basically controlled, I wouldn't mind seeing more Medivh type villains try and turn a new leaf. Arthas met the criteria in my opinion, falling falling falling, but his actions were never those of an EVIL person, he was desperate, combined with his upbringing as a Prince his pride wouldn't allow him to stop. All that he did, he did for Lordaeron, if the evil sword hadn't stolen his soul, he would have returned as a hero to cheering crowds and rose blossoms.....oh wait.

I'd like to see a recurring character that you weren't sure what they wanted, some sort of anti-hero out for themselves, whose main goal wasn't world destruction or domination, just an opportunist, maybe a collector of artefact or someone just out for riches, perhaps a hired gun type character who would do anything for a price. Sometimes he would show up and help you out, next time you meet him (in an unrelated place) he'd be working against you for whatever reason. No redemption, no ultimate corruption, just a guy out to get his rocks off and have a comfortable retirement plan.
After so many corrupted good guy stories I think I now find the more interesting characters to be the ones who were just evil from the start. I suppose you have to accept a certain amount of corruption given the way the Old Gods work. Speaking of which, I hope we fight Cho'thun at some point in Cata! It makes me wonder if the Temple of AQ won't get a revamp after the flood which shows it as an island now.

Someone not inherently evil, heh? I'd say Illidan would have been the best bet, but they turned him into a cartoon villain for BC. Right now, there's the option of Darion and maybe his lieutenants (Koltira and Thassarian) might be good fits, once the Lich King story arc ends. After all, their determination to kill him is pretty much the only reason they're being tolerated so far.

I suspect it may be a little tricky to turn the closest thing to a "racial" leader the DKs have into the main antagonist. (Hey. He's boss level, hangs out in our "home city", gave us a bunch of noob quests and now doesn't do much when you click on him, shows up for us in Icecrown here and there... More than Vol'jin's ever done.)

The Return of Harrison Jones? He is in Grizzly Hills after all.
Brann could actually do something bad, like switching on a Titan Doomsday machine, or something like that in Cataclysm/Uldum.

But to say he did it on purpose would seem like a deviation from his character.
So far the closest lore character in WoW to be like this would be Hemet Nesingwary. If we actually fought Hemet himself instead of Harold during the D.E.H.T.A. quests, he would be pretty close to what Vaccine described.
