Sigrie lists several new daily quests and NPCS of the "Crown Chemical Company", who are apparently doing nefarious things in various zones including Crystalsong, Hinterlands and Terrokar. These quests start in Orgrimmar and Stormwind... home faction reputation dailies?

From reading the surrounding quests, I believe they are new quests for the Valentine's Day event.

Strangulate is a Death Knight class ability. It's either another way of putting "timed", because of the cooldown the spell probably has, or it is somehow interruptable/avoidable. Could also be similar to Consumption Junction - while you do that nowadays by just nuking the boss before he casts it twice, the old tactic involved getting everyone except the tank out of LoS shortly before he casted Consume.

Might be holiday-related. Perfume and Cologne sounds like Love is in the Air.
Then again, the "Crown Chemical Company" sounds like a human equivalent of the Royal Apothecary Society, maybe they are involved in the Cataclysm event. RAS was commanded by a Dreadlord, maybe the CCC (sic!) is influenced by black dragons?

It's a bit of an improbable and cheesy name for something intended as serious, let alone Black-Dragonish.
@Tirin: Doing a little research, they're show to be humanoid rather than undead, which points at them being traitors from Kael'thas' attack on Northrend. Of the assault of Quel'thalas, very few elves survived, and even less, I think, joined with Arthas. The lore mentions a single traitor, Dar'khan.
Also, Wowwiki mentions them as "blood elves", and their connection (obsession) with blood, going so far as to practice cannibalism, lends credibility to that theory, seeing as blood elves only came up after the attack on Quel'thalas.
@Talgog: Although the "Big Bad Guy" is a bigger cliché, I get a little more fed up with the "Beautiful Evil Queen", a la Kerrigan (well, her only "beautiful" part is the face, and even then, but...). Still, it'd probably be a good twist in story. What I meant, above all, is that I don't think it'd be good for the lore to know we'll have another Lich King gnawing on our ankles when Deathwing and the Legion are finally put to rest, so to speak. Yes, they also come and go, but the Lich King received so much publicity and fame that I really feel it should at least be a long time until we hear from him again. And I mean really long. Still a personal opinion.

It would be a bit anticlimactic if the Lich King is immediately replaced by another, as in, it happens right there at the final event in the raid. I'd prefer it to be ambiguous at best, maybe with Mal'Ganis reclaiming Frostmourne or otherwise leaving its fate not entirely clear (a bit like the phylactery in Naxx 1.0).
I wonder what happens with the Sunwell. I'm assuming the quest involves us actually going back inside the instance. From the quests it seems you need to get a specific blessing to gain entrance, which is probably a phasing thing. Lore-wise, this should be our first look at the 'current' Sunwell, Light-cleansed and all. If that's true.. than Cataclysm really has to get rid of the green crystal bits in Blood Elf zones, right, and really show their promised redemption in the game world.

Agreed, I spent the whole WotLK leveling thinking noticing that Blood Elves remained, for the most part, sociopathic addicts. Never did you find a sign of their supposed redemption, except for the Sunreavers.
It seems Blizzard has indeed thought of that and is allowing us to see how goes the new Sunwell. However, I'm guessing the green eyeglow has become a racial trait, not unlike the orcs' green skin, so all the signs we'll get on the Sin'Dorei's change of pace are a more cooperative nature and a less murdering and vengeful urge.
Which are better than normal eyes, I think.

They're probably goblin-based.
Firstly, the name; either they're a thinly disguised front for Venture Co, or it's just a similarity. Secondly, it's related to Love is in the Air, and Peddlefeet is a goblin. Thirdly, Cataclysm is coming, and so more goblin-based interactions are likely. Fourthly, some of the quest text is quite suggestive:

Get a load of these guys, would ya? Steamwheedle's been handling the business of holidays for years, and all of a sudden, these guys bust into the market. They're not Steamwheedle; the cartel hired me to get to the bottom of this.

Ah, oops, didn't really read these quest texts... yeah that sounds like other Goblins, which don't belong to the Steamwheedle Cartel. I was just mislead by " Crown Chemical Company".

The reason I said Moroes-like is the achievement title is "I've Gone and Made a Mess", which is the same thing Moroes said when he killed someone; also the ability itself is at least currently called the same thing as Moroes's attack. I think if it was going to be strangulate, they would probably have just called it strangulate given other DK npcs use it.

Of course! The Deathbringer is actually Moroes!
Anyway, considering the definition of Garrote, it could be exchanged easily with Strangulate in order to emphasize a more physical and brutal nature of the Deathbringer (one that we would probably expect of a turned Saurfang Jr., at least).
The achievement name is obviously just a reference to Moroes.

It's just to keep who it is a secret but the achievement itself points to Saurfang in the files.

With all this unofficial "confirmation" that Bolvar isn't a boss in Icecrown, it's kind of exciting to consider the possibilities. Although Yogg's vision showing him being tortured certainly places limitations on said possibilities. I have these great visuals of Bolvar getting up before the Wrathgate closed and chasing after Arthas, leaving his shield behind. Perhaps he infiltrated Icecrown and posed as a Necromancer under their noses for several months before being captured and tortured. *shrug* Having him go all commando appeals to me alot.
But considering the healing properties of the Red Dragonflights Flame (re: Icecrown dying Paladin quest), it's credible to assume he brushed off the plague and lived to fight another day. I really hope it's not just a transformation phase of the Saurfang encounter, after all the leaked Draconic speech and speculation that's taken place over the last 12 months.

That would actually open up a new possibility. Bolvar helping us out against Saurfang regardless of faction and maybe die in the process or vanish afterwards. He's doing it to save his friend and ally from a fate worse than death, but Garrosh and Wrynn misunderstand his motives. One sees it as the last straw, the other, as a call to war, and they both make a mess out of things, setting up Cataclysm.

What the... my bad, could've sworn the achievement said Strangulate, not Garrote...
Ok, but how do the "Deathbringer", a DK and likely Jr's body, who was a warrior, fit to a rogue ability? Not that the borders of classes are very strict for NPCs/lore characters, anyway.

It could be due to the wording being a placeholder or something that we will need to wait and find out.
* Edit
Or more likely what Kaejin said.
