When I brought up attunement quests, I meant something in the likeness of the Icecrown dungeons. Something fun, lore-rich and with little more to it than "kill boss x (perhaps doing its achievement, so as to spike the difficulty a bit) then go to commander y, etc."

Fortunately, rep grinds did not cross my mind.

Still, it's not like discovering something will take any effort...


Edit: Agreed on how annoying overgrown mobs sometimes are, but this is the expansion's main antagonist. Personally, I'm all for going over the scale with him.

I actually find cats and wolves/worgs to look more awkward than any other kind of mob (except maybe regular humanoids who should be the same height as us, and even then...) when increased in size.

Some posters in other forums argue that Deathwing's model is likely to be revamped. I honestly had settled for this, even if I do find the current dragon model to be "meh-ish". I was under the impression that textures as detailed as those sported by the leaked model just couldn't be "glued" to another. And yet it makes perfect sense for Deathwing to have a look much more faithful to the concept art, in which he almost has a "leonine" look, bodywise.

People need to remember to take screenshots from F&FA with a grain of salt at this stage. At the similar point in TBC pre-release, a bunch of models were not finalized yet. Lots of things had either placeholders or checkered cubes. Just because something shows up in a completely legit and accurate screenshot today does not mean that's what it'll look like when the non-NDA beta starts, let alone when the full release occurs.

Said screenshot is around since last Blizzcon. It's not F&FA, to my knowledge.

Since it's been confirmed that this is the Abyssal Maw instance, the Gilgoblins are allied with the Old Gods (given the faceless one-like mob) and not with the Naga.

Unless the Naga are working for the Old God in some way. Would be interesting if it turns out she is following the Old God while Deathwing and the Elements turned their backs to them.

So the client got leaked more and Bibi has posted everything he had.

Gotta say that I am pretty happy with what we see so far.

The new kobalds are awesome, so much character now; unless those names are placeholders. Either way they look great!

Wow, just have a look at Neptulons model. Pure awesomeness. I also like the new Kobold models. ;-)

I noticed, that they replaced the western coast of Tirisfal (presumed Old God position) with mountains. Wasn't that the location where the first exiled Highborne were driven mad by some whisperings ?

Anybody else really really disappointed with Neptulon getting basically another reused Ragnaros model? It would seem also he is going to just be a 5m boss. Else he wouldn't be in the data files already. He certainly wont be patched in via 4.1 or 4.2 anyway. I'm guessing he is the final boss in the Throne of Tides instance.
