It seems Deathwing is trying to construct a draconic Mr. Potato of sorts. Or just trying to make his cottage house more cozy.

Also, that seems to be blood, down in the pit. So far, so good as far as Deathwing's concerned.

Seems the Forsaken have moved into Andorhal. Guess that means no more running through there from Chillwind Camp on my Alliance toons.

Also, I was expecting more devastation everywhere. Perhaps the damage to the world increases over time thanks to phasing, but it really doesn't seem as if the old world is changing much. I was expecting lava and destruction every few feet, not just what appears to be "Yeah, stick some lava in there and move onto the real zones."

Based on this screenshot , it appears that the Horde and Alliance each have a portion of Andorhal with a no-man's land in between.

Regarding the Old God Skeleton in Darkshore and Twilight Highlands. I'm willing to bet its actually the same exact one. It's pretty apparent in the screens they are trying to move it somehow. I bet while questing in Darkshore we get a phased questline, where upon completion the skeleton is no longer there for you...implying it's been successfully moved.

Heh, the new Blackrock Caverns has a region called "Beauty's Lair"... the girlfriend of The Beast, maybe? Awesome.

One thing that might end up bugging me a bit is... remember back in vanilla, how, like, Nefarian was at war with Ragnaros? But I guess now Deathwing is in cahoots with the Old Gods commanding the elementals? Is that going to be explained ever? Was Nefarian just acting on his own and has now changed allegiance to be working for Deathwing? Hopefully it'll be explained, I can just as easily see things being retconned into "Nefarian / Ragnaros war? What Nefarian / Ragnaros war?"

Also wondering what's going to happen to Shadowforge.

I thought we killed Nef, and now Deathwing has stolen his head (and Onyxia's) from SW. Thus the new and improved Ony model (we can rebuild her...we have the technology). So...it's entirely possible that the Nef in Cat has had a similar resurrection...who knows how much of his original mind is left. He's likely just Deathwing's puppet now, so whatever motives he had in the past are just gone and the war is just over.

Nef was acting on his own against Rag wasn't he? As daddy Deathwing was AWOL since before vanilla until he emerges in Cat?

Doubtful. Why would you excavate something, take it across the ocean, rebury it and excavate it again? It's pretty clear that they are not Old Gods but really big Faceless Ones.

I am wondering about something though. If anyone has the sandbox running can you check on the two giant skeletons in Desolace?

Or one model is complete and they just copy/pasted it elsewhere.

I agree that it's likely very large Faceless One, just not necessarily multiple. Phase excavating it, phase it gone as they move it, new phase of the assembled version on the Highlands.

Wasn't Nefarian daddy's rebellious child and was making prismatics to prove he can do what his father couldn't? It wouldn't surprise me if he wanted to take out Rag since he sort of lived under him and all either.

Except the Darkshore version looks to be far more excavated than the Twilight Highlands version. The most logical explanation is that they are two different Giant Faceless Ones instead of one being excavated and moved.

Eh, maybe. To me it looks more like the cultists have gotten hold of some sort "piece" of an old god and are using magic and tech to rebuild it. It may be that after we beat the previous two that they came in a recovered pieces which they're "Frankenstein-ing" together along with parts of the huge dead faceless ones.

There seem to be two of 'em. L'ghorek and Nespirah. So I'd assume something along the lines of Old God minions really.
