Lor'themar had his armor updated to look similar to how he did in the Battlecry image.

If we link to mmowned, I might as well mention this:

(don't be irritated by the posture, that's just the default state of the Cat skeleton, before animations kick in. Before they added a unique animation, you could run/glide around in that posture by spamming /mountspecial)

The color schemes are definitely more unsettling than the default pose. The middle one reminds me of the first time I saw a set of He-Man toys as a child and that damn green tiger. The others aren't too much better. Hopefully they revise them before release. They're not raptors, but at least they're not stumpy little bobcats.

Really curious about seeing a bear with a mohawk and what flight form will look like, now.

Also it looks like whoever made that image was a little careless with the magic wand tool in photoshop and deleted part of the nose on one of them.

On a different note, updating Lor'themar's model (well, his armor anyway) is weird if they're just going to leave him as an undeveloped nobody that scarcely has a shred of lore to his name. I guess he could have it worse, though. He could be Halduron Brightwing.

Well, since we're on this posting spree-thing:

http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/2...oshmmowned.png

Face is a tad strange unless he's in a Harem Happy Hour. His legs are a little on the thin side too, but this a working-class Warchief, no doubt about that.

The new "Anubisaths" we were talking about earlier. Rajah, Ammunae, Setesh.

Since Set is associated with darkness and chaos, I'd say Setesh is that corrupted construct associated with shadow magic, the Anubisaths were copied by C'thun from his appearance, or simply are his former underlings.

The tusks + long/spikey Troll hair makes them look rather like some of the boars already in the game. I know they're traditional troll features and I don't think they were wrong in using them. The hair could use toning down (so it doesn't look like a bristle-back on a boar), or amplify around the neck/behind the ears and make it more leonine (which would look odd on females, since female lions lack such a mane).

I suspect seeing them in movement or in real WoW poses would remove most of my admittedly personal critique.

The so-called "Anubisaths" are quite nice. Good attention to detail, high quality models. C'thun having made copies off a single template makes perfect sense, especially if he'd originally corrupted the template.

The spiky hair and tusks do make them resemble boars already in game. I think a more appropriate hairstyle would have been the dreadlocks. The dreads are just as iconic for trolls and moves cat form away from looking like a boar.

I don't like them, to be honest...maybe its the hair (why not a true mane?) or the eyes, but there's something "disturbingly" humanoid about these cat forms. The tiger choice is good, makes complete sense under the trolls' deities and customs, but there are just too many odd things here. The bluish colors, for starters, seem a little unnatural. At first glance, I'd say they painted these cats using the Parrot-Form palette.

A little more viciousness to their looks might also come in handy.

Agree with Tinwhisker, dreadlocks would have been considerably better on the eyes. But in essence I'm not against the spiky hair, and it is afterall the hair of the earliest trolls in Warcraft (dreadlocks only came with WoW).

What I'm against are the outrageous colours. We are talking about a predator, one relying on stealth. How brilliant is it to have almost glowing red hair or bright yellow spikes? In PvP I expect Troll Cats to be quite a bit more visible when stealthed or just hiding. I expect a high popularity of the whiteharied version since it is by the least invasive of the lot (even it's body is slightly more dampened).
The tusks are great, though I had expected less boarlike tusks and more like those on the Bobcat fanart.
The eyes are cool. Trolls have a history of strongly coloured eyes, not glowing likes elves, just a lot of colour. They seem quite fitting.
Not impressed that the heads are almost a copy of the Tauren cats. Remove the tusks from one and the ring from the other and they are the same. I had hoped for truly different cats, like the difference from Nelf and Tauren.

Overall, they have overdone them. Seems like they did a hard job on making the Tauren cat into something else, rather than making a new one. And ended up adding all kinds of stuff that just makes the cat stand out like a sore thumb. It quite simply doesn't fit a predator very well. Peacock form is apt I would say.

Nice looking Anubisath, in particular the eagle. Strong colouration yet not too much. They seem ancient yet quite up to date. I like.

Blizzard sent the fansites preview images of the female Worgen model this morning. The base model is off the female draenei but all of her animations are pretty unique so far (some are still the female draenei's).

As Zarhym recently posted, those models do not have hair yet so they look a bit... off. I'm particularly glad to see though that the ears might just be as expressive as a real animals ears can be. I see several shots where they've appeared to change positioning and direction. I'm really hoping that idle animations have them moving around.

I'm not sure but I believe the non-emoting face seems to be in a slight snarl or at least have more than just some canines showing. I haven't decided yet if I like this or not.

Both the male and female do indeed snarl when in attacking poses.

I was more curious about the snarl when just standing around. One of the things I don't like about druid bear forms is the fact that they're always snarling. When in battle this makes sense but when just standing around I'm not sure I like that.

They don't snarl when idle. In those static images it just looks like she may be snarling in the idle animation since her mouth opens and closes slightly.
