Very happy with her model, they did a fantastic job with her. It looks even better then the Alexstraza model. As for the hood, I like that it was dropped, look at all the nifty head details we get to see cause it is gone.
I'd think after having been stuck in the Emerald Dream and then almost being consumed by the Nightmare, Ysera would want to keep her eyes open for a bit now. Now here's hoping she gets some scripted dialogue too, well unless they get Sindragosa's Voice Actress to do the voice.
We have seen humanoid versions of all the Aspects now except Malygos and and Nozdomu, and Malygos will never happen now unless he shows up in a Caverns of Time instance. Really be cool to get Nozdomu down the road.

Easy fix. First line out of her mouth "What? Who put these clothes on me while I was asleep?!?"
But really, dragons are (mostly) naked in their natural form (I'm discounting some jewelry). When they shift to humanoid, they're fully clothed and/or armoured. I somehow doubt they went to a blacksmith or tailor and purchased some fancy duds that are "hidden" when they return to their true shape. It's far more likely part of the shapeshift is determining what they are currently wearing. Their scales effectively become full plate or a chainmail bikini. I suspect stabbing the vulnerable flesh of Ysera, you'd find it just as hard as a dragon's natural scales.
So if a dragon's in a bad mood and needs a human form - arms and armour of a threatening appearance. In a good mood - exotic dancer (Chippendale for the male dragons), or Japanese schoolgirl. While most folks in the Cataclysm aren't going to be terribly happy, Ysera's got good reason to be cheerful. The Dream's been fixed (mostly?), she can wake up and deal with other things, rather than sleep and work inside it. If someone suddenly removed all the Infinite Dragonflight, I'd expect to see Chromie in Beer Goggles and little else, not her normal robes (... although this almost makes me decide to help the Infinite. Gnomes. Ick.).
Ysera's in a party mood and threw on her party clothes. Now she may have some work to do, but she's still going to enjoy herself, damnit.

We've seen Malygos human form during Yogg-Saron fight, but it was pretty general high elf mage model

Ysera's model may not be final, much like Sylvannas went through one or two iterations before her current one, though as stated it can't vary from much from Alexstrasza's, so the only change may end up being shoulders to a Catacyslm tier model when they're done. A transparent veil might suit as a replacement for a hood, though I expect that might not be possible. The earrings are nice.

Just the model or lore-wise? i.e. Is there some event that makes her open her eyes, because she has always been described with here eyes perma-shut

Recently read Night of the Dragon, there it was stated that, at least for Korialstrasz/Krasus, the 'clothes' are magically generated on shapeshift, they're part of the spell. Think that might've already been said in DotD, but that was Knaak as well. So it's not canon. Yet.

Blizzard has treated NotD weirdly with regards to it's lore, most of the stuff that happens in the novel isn't mentioned in the Grim Batol preview at all or is contradicted, but the clothing thing seems perfectly reasonable

@Fnar: I'm assuming lorewise. The blue stated that in response to a question/doubt like Ratek's, and I don't think he did it in a humorous way. They could've just closed her eyes if they wanted to.
And, really, if a Deathwing+Elemental Lords+Old Gods assault isn't enough for her to open her eyes, I might as well make an amulet out of them.

I was under the impression that her eyes were closed because she was at best semi-sleep-walking to maintain most of her presence in the Dream (Nightmare!). Now that (per novel) the Emerald Dream is repaired (insert imagery of Jesus Stormrage in loose pants, bent over some pipes, Ysera staring at his ass-crack like he's some plumber in a low budget porno), she no longer needs to devote so much energy there. She can actually fully wake up and open her eyes to Azeroth itself.
I mean, if Jesus Stormrage can wake up from the Emerald Dream, surely Ysera Magdalene can, too. Who else will wash his feet?
I think it was almost a running joke with the Flight Leaders. Neltharion was hidden in the Earth. Nozdormu is lost in Time. Ysera was asleep in the Dream. I'm just sorta surprised we didn't have Malygos trapped by a Magic spell, and Alexstrasza so pregnant with new Life that she was unable to participate in events.

I think that one is discountable though, as High Elves didn't exist at the time the Dragon Soul was created. Re-using the Kalec model with a recolor may have worked better in that case.

Especially an ancient being whose domain is the dreams of said testosterone-driven adventurers.
I like her model. It is an improved version of Alexstrasza's. The biggest problem is her right arm. It looks really emaciated compared to the rest of her model, including her left arm.

The right arm vs left thing is just a trick of the camera angle, they're the same size just not positioned the same off her body. I can't remember if I've mentioned this before but the thing I don't like is that those "bracers" give her the whole "Popeye" look. I'm OK with slightly over-sized, claw-like hands as that seems fitting to a dragon in form but the way the bracers lead into or flow with the forearm is ugly.

Exactly. Her arms and gauntlets don't mesh terribly great. I'm happy they didn't go with the hood. Imagine it, she would just be a green rather than red/black Sylvanas. Yes, she would be different, but the hood would be the most marked piece of gear, the one to draw the the most attention. At the same time it would obscure her most different aspect, her face, horns (not as such but the hood would make them less obvious) and ears.
At the same time as I like her model, I do understand and agree with the objection to her 'sexy' looks. It fits Alex, she is the aspect of life, rebird and all that stuff. Like ancient godesses of fertility she is not only attractive but rather sexy as well (or at least that's the idea). Ysera, on the other hand, doesn't have that role. I guess since she is the protector of dreams, she is also the protector of fantasies, and hence... more physical fantasies, but still. Pretty, attractive, yes that's fitting, perhaps even required of a dreamer. As is a lack of heavy armour. But since she is a dreamer she would be better off in a flowing light robe (of course I understand that robes only come in the heavy variety ingame, but even so that would be better), or perhaps something somewhat more solid than this.
So I guess I'm a little torn at her. She looks like her sister, yet different, but it doesn't fit her theme.

Here's is a blue post that explains why Ysera's eyes are open in Hyjal.
"As I've said before, her eyes are very intentionally open. This is, in fact, part of the fiction and will be explained in one of our upcoming novels as well as a future event in game.
If it suits you, feel free to RP going CRAZY INSANE after looking into her eyes in Hyjal."
Could this mean a Stormrage World Event?
