I am surprised no one commented on "Benedictus" looking similar to "Benedict Arnold" -- an infamous traitor.

Primarily because Benediction is a religious term.
EDIT:
Now here's something...
wonder how they've managed to catch a black drake.

Considering black drakes aren't exactly Deathwing's favorite children anymore, I'm more surprised they actually managed to find one. The Dragonmaw appear to have contributed more than their fair share to the culling of the black flight, in any case. They seem to have taken a liking to decorating with black scales over red pretty readily.

Perhaps they forced the drake to cooperate after witnessing:
Really, it made me think twice about rolling on all those "Horn of [insert dragon name]" trinkets, "Someone's tooth" necklaces, etc. I suspect the Dragonmaw will become the epitome of Garrosh's modus operandi.
It's possible that black drake is unique, as in one of the Dragonmaw's commanders' mount.
Edit: On Benedictus/ Ben Arnold, I'm not sure if Blizzard, even with their vaunted "We plan years ahead", had thought of making Benedictus a traitor. We're still waiting to hear more from the storyline, but right now the whole "Not my letter ok I confess" is rather shambling...

Nah, he's just a moron. "You have no proof" translates to "Yes, I admit I'm guilty but you cannot do anything about it right now." Lack of proof of guilt is not automatic proof of innocence (but it is reasonable doubt for modern court systems). If I'm not guilty I would be confused at a sudden accusation, indignant, and argue I'm innocent and don't even understand the charge. "I what? With what? How?" A smart conspirator would be more along the lines of "What? A letter? My signature, you say? Let me see that!" Varian's specifically come to you, not just to give you a chance to clear your name, but telling you he actively hopes it's not true. "I'm amazed, if I didn't know better even I would think this was my handwriting and signet! I don't believe it. We must get the true villain behind this!" Deflect, deflect, lie, deflect.
Varian's not too much more bright. "I pray to the light that these allegations are false!" That's like "I hope this extremely damning evidence which you really have no way to combat is false, tell me a warm and fuzzy and I'll believe it." What was Varian hoping, "That's not my handwriting and I lost my signet last week?" Benedict is a moron because he's basically prompted by Varian to "Lie to me, I'll believe it," and doesn't take the opportunity.
Note, this is also my reasoning why Varian isn't actually involved in an SI:7 kidnapping of Thrall. He's too dumb to think of it himself, and too bullheaded to approve the suggestion. "Send a handful of spies to kidnap? Why bother. Let's deploy several Legions and start clearing territory from the Barrens northward until we crush Orgrimaar and slay Thrall."

Rock: "We're sub-standard DPS. Nerf Paper, Scissors are fine."
Paper: "OMG, WTF, Scissors!"
Scissors: "Rock is OP and Paper are QQers. We need PvP buffs."

Possible, What I found strange is that there are some of those in the Twilight bases too... do the twilights mutilate black dragons that fail, or do they just chop up the ones that are already dead?

Pretty sure blacks are just in a rough spot. Twilights always showed the same disdain for blacks that blacks showed for the other flights, and now that they're dominant, the blacks are just fodder.
Twilights are Deathwing's favorites now, and we know he's a pretty poor father so it's unlikely he cares about what the twilights do to the blacks.

He seemed like a good father in Beyond the Dark Portal... probably because the eggs that were smashed were supposed to help him take over Draenor... meh.
There are black dragons in lower level zones though... anyone have any quests that indicate they're on the outs or moving further from favor through the zones?

At this point, one must view the black dragons as minions, not family, to Deathwing. Sometimes he picks one up and squeezes him till his guts come out, out of anger, or uses one for an experiment that will seldom go well. But he doesn't shun them or send them away. Much less do they run from him or forfeit his goals. More and more, this flight behaves...as zerg, every time the Aspect emerges.
And you can bet that, while he may favour the Twilights more, Deathwing won't treat them as he once did his own black flight. He's completely self-centered, now.
Nefarian is going down the same route. And all it took was him dying - let's assume he lost the ability to feel. Now imagine how Deathwing's mind must be for him to have achieved this state alive.

Well...they gave Thrall a new model.
He looks far older then he's supposed to be.
I'm not really sure where they're going with these Cataclysm models to be honest.

I like it, its what a Farseer is supposed to look like, however I wish to see him in his old armor and wielding Doomhammer. Hopefully both get updated.

Maybe this was in the Beta before but I never saw it.
Has anyone noticed that if you talk to a guard in Orgirmmar there is a weird option that says "Thaumaturge" at the bottom, and if you click on it you get some Old God speak or at least I am assuming it is Old God speak, "An rufTos ewiddan nud o fariandowar ko koshvel odes tiras, ergin lo o majis vil vohl skilde ras AesiRe cynewalden vrum, Kaelslg Vandarwos."

Did talk to some guards before on beta and never noticed that, must be new. Weird though, this sounds like something related to that datamined pre-Cata event in Org, prophets handing out pamphlets, resulting in an elemental attack.
Also, did every guard have this option, or just a few? The latter would indicate an involvement in a quest, while a permanent option indicates, well, a permanent feature, maybe related to archaeology.
PS: Wait, "tiras"? I think that's in the "Common" dictionary... yup, many of those words can be found in an incomplete word list on WoWWiki. So it's not Old God-ish, just Common. Could someone check the Alliance/Stormwind/IF guards?
Edit: Just got online, the Grunts state similar gibberish for the "Portals" option.

He doesn't look that much older, just wiser perhaps, more like he's in exile? We don't really know what happens to him completely between now and his new position in Cataclysm, perhaps he goes through a transition, but he certainly looks more elder shaman/earthen ring oriented now.
The art of Garrosh in the Kalimdor loading screen looks amazing, he truly looks like a Hellscream, does he have the same black jaw as Grom?
I wonder what becomes of Doomhammer's armour?

Either way it's weird but it I checked about 5 Grunts around the cleft of shadows area and they all had the option.
