World Raid Speed Records (WWS or GTFO)
Post a reply with an elapsed time and WWS link to your guild's frantic, crazed, probably drug-fueled, fastest clear of any level 70 raid in this thread and I'll update this message with the two lowest known ETs for each raid.
I'll take elapsed time off the winning WWSes when the "Full Report" split option and "Charts" browse option is selected.
RULES:- Look at the list before posting a link to your WWS. If your WWS isn't faster than the one listed for the instance in which you're competing, GTFO. We don't care about your near-miss.
- No screwed-up "dirty" WWSes where we're expected to subtract the time you paused the raid to go nuke some HOT POCKETS®. Also, we won't trim the time your guild spends picking their nose at the beginning or arguing over loot at the end from the WWS ET. Learn to use Loggerhead or type /combatlog.
- Level 70 raids only. You wanna track how fast 70s tear through old content? Make your own thread. Got a dusty, moldy WWS from Naxx you want to show off? Make your own thread.
- Regular raids only. There's enough content to track and argue about here without turning this into "The fastest 5-man Kara while eating 101° HOT POCKETS® Mexican Style", soon followed by "Please post my 'The fastest 5-man Kara while eating 105° HOT POCKETS® Ultimate'". Pay your money to become a benefactor and post your awesome feat to the "Best Practices: Heroic Raid Dungeons" thread and see if the high-end community thinks its worth tracking.
- Don't think asshole tricks like turning logging on at the first boss, selectively pruning trash, or pausing logging during every drink will work. There are very experienced people on here who will look at your gear and know how fast you are able to go through content. We also know how much total damage to expect in an instance. Expect to be ridiculed, hated, and hopefully banhammered for lying.
- A new winning WWS will have an asterisk(*) and will be listed in red for a week. This so the WWS can be vetted for at least a week by your peers here. If the WWS is on a free account and expires during that week, tough luck, you forfeit your record. This is to keep cheats from submitting gamed WWSes that disappear before they can be examined. Re-upload or pay for an account.
- Get your numbers in, they'll be locked after WotLK drops. Who cares how fast level 80s can tear through level 70 content?

Black Temple, 1 hour 50 minutes. (49 by flask timers, but WWS says 50 so we'll call it 50.)

You'll need someone to volunteer a WWS account to hold the current record holders since if they're using a free account the wws link will fail after 14 days right?
Potentially you might want to talk to whoever runs WWS Scoreboard about collaborating or requesting this data be added to the site since it's probably a useful joining of similar information...

WWS Scoreboard's parser hasn't been updated for the new WWS Renderer in around 5 weeks, with no response from Macked - basically I wouldn't hold my breath at this point. Seems he's either taking an extended vacation, or has given up on the site. (I'm hoping for the former.)

Hmm, I don't know, should I bring those over? I don't necessarily trust the numbers there.

Fusion, how do you skip the room of small slimes after Najentus? Are you just having a hunter shoot it, run away, and the raid runs by? Couldn't quite catch it in the video.

We use 2 hunters. One MD's to the other who is running down the ramp already with aspect on. They feign once everyone gets past. Using 2 allows the 2nd one to get a head start after misdirect has been cast (just need LOS to cast it, after that it will still take effect even from great distances)

Here's some for the scrub dungeons, so you have a benchmark to beat:
Wow Web Stats (ZA - 1:25)
Wow Web Stats (KZ - 2:30)
Wow Web Stats (Tempest Keep 3:41...not exactly a speed run but hey, if nobody else has one...)

WWS shows 1h14' but if you look at combat log you will see first pull was done at:
20:47'23.672 Spectral Stallion is afflicted by Faerie Fire (Feral) and Prince died at:
21:56'37.140 Prince Malchezaar dies
So, is like 1h9' all run.

I'm sorry, did you not understand the topic? People are looking for records. A ZA bear run takes 37-45 mins, so I'm quite sure ZA has been cleared in ~1 hour several hundred times. Karazhan has been cleared in under 2 hours I'd guesstimate 5,000 times or so.
You referred to your Tempest Keep as "not exactly a speed run" implying you consider the KZ and ZA to be speed runs. I'll leave it at that.

I dont know if this is proove enough but we did a live head-to-head run for a german community page with streaming on March 1st. For the Horde gewinnt ersten Battle of the Best | News | allvatar.com(german)
Sadly the WWS expired since then, but the News i linked states we came in ahead of Numen at the time of 45:45 for Zul'Jins death.
On a sidenote, there will be another "Battle of the Best" being hold during the Games Convention which will feature For the Horde vs In Harmony on Saturday 14.00 and Nihilum vs SK Gaming on Sunday 14.00, see the News Link (english)

I'm sorry, did you not understand the topic? WWS or GTFO. It doesn't matter how many times Kara has been cleared in under two hours or ZA in an hour. Unless and until someone submits a WWS report for such a run and Hattori validates it, solbergb holds the record.

Providing random WWS reports is easy, just use the search function on WWS*, there's no need to post obvious slow clears. I think the point of this topic was speed clears (hence the "speed records" part of the topic) and not just clears.
* A quick search on WWS yielded this
Karazhan in 56 minutes by <easYplaY>: Wow Web Stats
Zul'Aman in 1 hour and 4 minutes by <Fusion>: Wow Web Stats
Tempest keep is granted a little harder to find, since no one clears all of it anymore, but I'm sure that if I spent more than 2 minutes searching, I'd find a log of a faster clear than 3 hours and 41 minutes.

koaschten, does anyone still have the wowcombatlog.txt for that run? PM me on here and I'll give you an email address to send it to. I'll WWS it on my paid account.
I'll keep an eye on the "Best of the Best" thing.

solbergb, like you, I almost put some of my guild's so-so times up just to "Prime the pump" so to speak. In the end, lets just leave them blank until we get viable entries.
Also, people will need to use common sense until we get #s for every raid. Don't bother posting over an hour for Kara or ZA, 2 hrs for the others.

I got the response I wanted. I didn't expect those numbers to stand more than a few minutes, but it seemed better to get some response than none. I did stick to the rules as posted. Now there are better rules. It's all good.

Guess i cant, because i dont keep that old logs. Doesnt matter, after all its just some contest
But at least you got a guideline to look for if you plan to submit a log for ZA.
