Kaubel's UI looks pretty sweet yet I have no idea what it is as I don't switch UI's much. The search function didn't seem to like 2 letter queries therefore would you mind stating what it is?? I apologize if this is asked over and over again.
Thanks

Which screen shot are you referring to? I used to use Gypsy unit and player bars, but right now I use Perl and Titan Bar. The rest has always been the default UI.

It was one of your more recent updates of a BWL boss kill. The player frames are pretty nice and seeing as how I stare at my computer screen 2-3 hours a night on average I figured I might as well as have something pretty to look at when I get bored :)

I used to use Gypsy myself but I switched to CT when I started raiding as I it seemed like less of a hassle to update both the CT_Mod and CT_Raid at the same time. I've actually disabled most of the CT_Mod functions though and just use the default bars, buffs etc.

The one thing I have noticed a lot lately is that when I have my CT_Raid going I get disconnected a lot more from WSG and AV though this doesn't happen in MC/BWL/Onyxia as often though. I'm not sure if this is b/c of my UI or not but I also think my framerate slows down quite a bit. I'm not ready to go back to the default UI entirely as it's raid setup seems somewhat worthless but the D/C's are becoming somewhat frustrating. I think in an AV game last night I got D/C'd probably 10 times over a 1 hour period. :(

Ah well, thanks for the link. Other than the unitframes is there anything else that makes the mod preferrable??

Ah, ok. I bet you're referring to http://forums.elitistjerks.com/uploa...emaw_kill1.jpg.

Gypsy I never had to update. Like I said, I only ever used it's unit features. Now all I use of Perl is the unit frames. I like it's target/target feature and it's overall look. Everything else is unchecked and left alone, especially anything it has that deals with raid groups.

Screw Nurfed and Cosmos and any of those other pieces of garbage most people use. I figure the less I stick in when it comes to comprehensive mods/UIs, the less can go wrong on patch day.

Not really. I think it just has a little more built-in support for 3rd party proggies than the standard mod.

The perl frames are awesome to look at. They've got some options that defaulted to "on" in my case that caused conflicts or probs with other things I run, but that was quickly and easily fixed by just shutting those functions off. Some people say it causes a memory hit on their machines, but I've never had noticable problems, myself.

As to the Gypsy part, I never missed it. I quit using Gypsy when they couldn't bother to fix the raid/party frame problems fast enough for my liking.

I'm ditching CT and my current build pretty soon to go with what Neptune's done. He got that 'move anything' mod and just uses the default Bliz UI with a couple of minor enhancements. He moves the bars and such to where he had them with CT/Gypsy and it works great. His looks and functions like my current setup, but with a quarter of the memory hit and mods to keep updated.

I figure I'll set that up with the perl unitframes and be good to go for a while.

Hmm, I had to use the MoveAnything Mod to get rid of the old unitframes. A bit annoying. Also, did you have to manually space the unitframes?? I find that the buff/debuff icons are overlapping a bit. Anyways, it looks great so I'm happy with it. Just have to get it cleaned up a bit more. Thanks for the help again.
