Not only that, but the rep gains for killing Furbolg have been quadrupled for a 70, from 1 to 4. Now I'm certainly going for the Diplomat title after the patch.

Furbolgs currently give 2 rep per kill. It's a flat doubling of Timbermaw Hold rep. It might be interesting to see if the Ritual Totems cash in for 700 or 1400 rep.

Ah, my bad. Haven't been to Felwood in a while, and thought for some reason they gave 1 rep at 70.

Oh, if anyone's curious, I just checked Cenarion Circle on the test server, and its rep is unchanged. Anyone know if any other reps have been changed like Timbermaw?

Well, not quite. Cenarion rep was boosted quite some while ago (text turn-in gives 500 instead of 100, rep for kills up to exalted, etc. It's that way since at least since 2.3, according to some comments on wowhead).
Runecloth turn-in is unchanged, though (and AV turn-in isn't as viable as it used to be... sometimes I'm missing the zerg...).
This is surprising. Any word on Hydraxian, Brood of Nozdormu, Zandalar gain increases? I've almost maxed Timbermaw as it is, as I'm sure Winterfall Village will become far more crowded after the patch anyway, but these others would be good to know.

Unlikely we'll see a change in the old raid reps, they are all tied to Feats of Strength, while Timbermaw is tied to a standard achievement.
Edit - My statement is incorrect and based on old information, disregard.

Yeah, I've been doing some grinding of CC rep under my pally with the 500/turnin for the Guardian of Cenarius title on live, which is what I meant it's unchanged from.

Hydraxian Waterlords has it's own standard achievement as well.
Upon further investigation it would seem that all the raid reps have been changed to be normal achievements, earlier they were all feats of strength. That said, since all the bosses remain boss level they retain their original rep amounts, only the rep from trash drops off due to the level difference.
Glad there changing Timbermaw rep. It always was a pain to grind(and still will be with the patch) but it should be easier now. I imagine at 80 the rep you get from killing ogres for mag'har rep wont be 10 either anymore right? So it's best to finish the grind now.
Some of the BC reps stand to be a much more painful grind at 80 than the vanilla reps were at 70. There is no way to get Lower City, Sha'tar, or Honor Hold rep to exalted other than running instances that will be entirely full of gray mobs at 80. Since the Mag'har/Kurenai rep is based mostly off the bead drops it won't be significantly more difficult. All the reps based on questing/dailies/drops will be roughly the same, though of course you'll make much less gold doing them than you did at 70.
Have the mentioned the ability to champion those TBC reps? Seems like that could solve the problem pretty easily.
I believe that championing is only going to apply to WotLK reps.
BTW: does anyone know if rep gains get even worse as you level, beyond just turning grey? For instance, will Argent Dawn rep from kills be lower at 80 than it is at 70?

It's directly arbitrary, you get full rep from mobs that give xp, and 10% from mobs that are gray. Of course, that's not to preclude them from changing the system yet again.

I was just running Molten Core the other night, I'm absolutely sure that the gain for gray mobs is 20%, not 10%.
That said, it's still a pain to get the old raid reps. I haven't even touched Brood of Nozdormu on my current main yet.

Brood of Nozdormu has been surprisingly painless beyond the initial grind from Hated to Neutral. AQ40 has proved one of the easiest retro raids to zerg because it doesn't require any attunements and every single time I've sponsored a run I've had no trouble filling out all 40 slots, which never happens with my MC/BWL/Naxx runs. Once I grinded out the Silithid Carapace Fragments, it's been about two months of AQ40 clears to get me to just a sliver shy of Exalted, with a few added scepter shard/ring upgrade turn-in/T2.5 turn-in/Atiesh questline turn-in added rep bonuses here and there.
The only boss that requires any coordination at all at 70 is Twin Emperors. Everything else, even C'Thun to some extent sadly, is pretty much a DPS race that you can overwhelm within a matter of seconds.
We did the ZA timed event wiping 2 times with 8 people (level 70) with.. 8-10 minutes to spare.. 3 of the 8 had never done even the 3rd timed before. The other 5 are part of a regular bear run group. Ah, one of the 8 was a holy paladin playing as mage (no beta account of his own). He had never played as mage before.
Also tanked Malacrass+all adds and AoEd everything to speed it up, it was quite funny.
So, yeah, easy instances are -very- easy now. Healer mana didn't go as bad as we thought either.
