I got to go to AV and BWL this past couple weekends and it was fun, as I've never been. While browsing through my screenshots from there, I also found a few old ones worth looking at. Here goes.

Here's one where Raylen taught us that there are actually differences between heavy metal genres.

I opened my mail and saw that Neptune had found a backpack I'd misplaced on the other account. (I totally kept it cause I needed it too, so there.)

Here's Wocka pulling Baron Geddon for us. This was probably in response to something I said.



Same run. I dunno, but it sounds kinky.



So this weekend I got to go to BWL and we got off to a great start because everyone was there on time.



Then it got even better. Gurgthock was excited about taking me on a tour of BWL for the first time, so he blew up and killed me as we won the Vael fight. Then he left it on group loot so we'd have some stuff to click on while waiting for everyone he killed to get ressed.



Somewhere in there, I saw this in guildchat. I dunno.



Next we fought some felguards. Around 5 of them, I think, because nobody would target the right warlocks. Friends do that kinda stuff for you to keep you from getting bored, y'know. Raylen was pleased and Xane was ninjalooting.



This whole sequence was happening as we pulled. Might've had something to do with it. I get nervous when our hunters laugh like that...



Wipes happen, though. It's all about dealing with them professionally.



At this point in the raid, we pulled something nature vulnerable and got a preview of what would happen to us on Cromaggus the next day...



That one was fine. The next was shadow, though. We got to find out that Zibro's talisman key is right next to his shadowbolt key. He died or something, then we immediately found that the only reason I don't die on shadow vulnerable mobs is Zibro hasn't died yet. (I finally got critline...it took about 5000 pictures. Doh.)



It was okay, though. Hi felt the love. (I played it cool cause RD was there...CR just don't care, though. Rogues are like that.)



After the last drake, I got into the first AV I've ever been in. I joined and it went like this:



So I decided to help Zoid with a somewhat difficult escort quest in the Blackrock area. My idea of helping, obviously, was to abandon the party the moment I saw a rich thorium vein; cause y'know...those things are hard to come by. Zoid was mildly displeased, since I left stuff beating up on him for a sec, but I was justified in my actions. See?

(PS. This is the only recorded instance of me even so much as typing that insipid word "woot".)



On Monday, we went and died to Cromaggus. Chupid got crucified and a lot of our gear broke, but it was fun. I should probably link this one cause some people still live in 800x600 resolution or something.

Here's another likely table breaker. In BWL, I learned why Ducky has such a hard time of things in raids. He's easy for the mobs to pick out.

Then an old friend showed back up and said their sister now lives near me. I've got a one-track mind, I guess.



I also got to hang with a lot of folks I haven't been around in a while, so that was cool. Great weekend. I'm sure you care.

Last is a really old one. I remember way back in some thread, someone was griping about and making fun of this pubbie shaman who did something extremely n00bish on their run. It reminded me of someone we knew in EJ. Finally found the shot. ;)

Scholomance. We did the absolutely retarded shaman quest the day it came out and wiped clean at one point, as I recall. This picture came as we killed Ras. Our fearless leader immediately said:

"Guys, I have a horrible confession to make..."

The creepy laughter was due to me and gurgthock getting turned into squirrels, and then dynamited. It was quite beautiful to see.

This was hilarious, but doesn't seem as much so without backstory. We were <30 seconds from pulling Flamegor, and we had been bantering about how Coldplay is gay, etc. Someone (Xuk?) said "Quick, Ray, whats the difference between doom, thrash, and black metal?" not expecting a real answer.
