Hey guys i was wondering what exactly you did to get target health on your Perl UI. I've downloaded the latest version, and fiddled a bit, not much more. And i'm no expert when it comes to programming, so how did you get target health. All mine states is 100% 100% :(

I was also thinking, is there a way to change the colour of the writing, sometimes (late @ night - long gamin session) i just cannot see myself or my parties health figures, like i can't read the 2034 over the top of the green bar that is health. any help please?

SORRY!
Any hunters with this mod? i was wondering if its possible to get a pet health percentage as well, as it only has a health bar which is (again) hard to see.

My question is the perl mod worth getting? I've seen a few screenshots and stuff, just deciding if it's worth getting or not. Easier on the eyes? Just nicer to look at? Better layout?

Don't get it.

[10:41] <James> 90% of the EJ boards in 10 years will be dudes that bounce around from game to game looking for the NEXT BIG WOW but all of them will ultimately fail them at level 20
Not on IRC?

Player frames usually serve two purposes; a nicer/cleaner layout (better use of space) or a better functionality. Perl doesn't really amaze me in terms of functionality, and the frames are just too big and clunky for me. I used straight Nurfed UI, and it's always exactly what I want. Very little unnecessary functions, and it's compact and concise.

(16:19:52) (manly) i mean, think of it this way, if you were a retard, do you think you would realize your a retard spreading butter on your chest crying in the rain ?
(16:20:05) (manly) no youd just think thats normal

I use GypsyMOD and Flexbar to create my interface.

This is about a month old, but my interface hasn't changed much at all.

I really like how it's layed out for myself, but if something is a little better for functionality and I like it, I'm all for it.

I use perl's frames because I can see the damage done to mobs without having to look at my combat log.

Ugh, /perl help doesn't help me at all, plus i've already tried. I really just want to get the health bar to be red all the time, and my mana bar, so i can read waht's under it.

Here are the reasons I like Nymbia's Perl Unit Frames:
* Better Layout- Display hard numbers without covering up the health and mana bars, show both level and resting/combat status, etc.
* Prettiness- Slick layout in the aesthetics department
* Health bars change colors so I can more easily recognize on sight who needs healing in my party (this is a must for me)
* Shows PVP rank
* Shows class icon for easy recognition
* Good level of customization- most display aspects can be tweaked, and scaled
* Easy customization- simple menu system
* Arcane Bar built in- I don't even show Blizzard's cast bar anymore
* Shows up to 10 buffs on friendly targets
* Fairly clean code- I can make adjustments to the mod like removing raid elements and increasing debuffs shown for 1.7

Things I don't like:
* The stupid raid shit I have to edit out because CTRA is better.

So that wasn't much of a list. I like them quite a lot

With the addon mobhealth2 you will get the numbers displayed in the perl ui.
As a side note, I really like the perl ui, but for the raidinfo I still prefer ct since perl is a bit to colorful imho.
