Might have been mentioned already, but there are a couple things RaidComp is missing:
-All 3 spec's of Shaman's providing buff: Mana Regen (Blessing) - Mana Spring totem = Wisdom, Resto shaman's can improve it to the same level as Holy Pallies (same if both have put in talents, but both can provide a lesser version if not spec'd, they don't stack anymore).
-PVE Frost Mage can provide Replenishment through talents
-With given the high need for life saving Cooldown's, there should probably be a category for this as well.
Holy Priests: Guardian Spirit, Disc Priest's: Pain Supression, Holy/Ret/Prot Paladin's can spec for 30% raid damage reduction to their bubble (highly effective, and is almost required for some fights).

Arthic's RaidComp: Beta-release of new in-game RaidComp tool
Hi,
For quite a while I've been working on an in-game addon that does something like MMO-Champion's RaidComp.
This might not be the right place to announce/advertise it. (But I can't start new threads myself yet.) Therefore I will just place a link to the Curse Page about Arthic's RaidComp.
Greetings,
Arthic/Athika

Is this still being updated? If so, there should definitely be some sub categories for DKs and Feral druids (at minimum) who can fill different rolls within the same spec. For example, a kitty is not able to use demo roar so there wouldn't be an AP debuff. Looking through the pages I saw this was touched on, but for accuracy in the tool I think it's necessary.

I'm not sure if the MMO RaidComp tool is still being updated, but possibly not as there's a few buffs/debuffs missing or incorrectly assigned from what I can see. If you want an up to date and in-game version though, the RaidComp addon does exactly the same thing and is being actively maintained.
Unfortunately it doesn't solve the Cat Form/Demo Roar problem at the moment, but I have an idea that might get around that, possibly... I'll look into it.

There are very, very few situations where a cat is "unable" to dump some energy, switch to bear form, demo roar, and switch back. Inconvenient, yes, and a small hit to DPS (say 5%), but it's not impossible-- it just means some lost white attacks and some DPS collisions. I've kept up Roar on Vezax many times to cover for a slacking DPS warrior while kitty DPSing.

Thanks for the addon tip, love it. Juste a side question, the /arc gui isn't working for me, i have to go to interface=>addon to open it, is there some other way to open it quicker?

Sorry, well spotted, I accidentally broke that in the last release. It'll be fixed in the next one, though it'll be "/rc gui" rather than "/arc gui" due to the renaming of the addon.
In the meantime you might find it more useful to have an icon on screen. RaidComp will display an icon if you have a LibDataBroker type addon such as ChocolateBar, or if like me you still use FuBar then Broker2FuBar will put the icon on there instead.

Thank you very much to the people who built the web-based and the ingame deal.
Been searching for an in-game tool for a few days now. Found InTheBuff easily, but it's no longer updated.
RaidComp does not pop up if you search Curse for "Raid Comp" or "Raid".

Yeah, unfortunately Curse.com's search facility is teh suck. Despite specifying "raid", "comp" and "raid comp" as tags it's still not possible to find the addon by searching for "raid comp". On the plus side you can now find it by searching for "raid", "comp" or "raidcomp". I guess that'll have to do until they get a better search engine.

Improved Icy Touch
Melee haste is provided by Improved Icy Touch (Frost DK) and Windfury Totem (Shaman, improved by talents). If you add two shamans, the buff is correctly marked checked, even if untalented. However, if you add a Frost DK, the buff isn't marked checked.
Is this because all DKs are listed as tanks and not melee DPS? And that most Frost DK tanks will not have IIT.
I can come up with a scenario where it can be asssumed that adding a Frost DK to your raid doesn't add IIT, but I don't think you can assume it won't. Regardless of the melee/tank issue, shouldn't IIT be a maybe at the very least if there's a Frost DK in the raid?
I hope this was helpful. Thank you for the service!
P.S. Shouldn't the Mana Regen of the Frost pet be under Replenishment?

ISB should be added as a buff supplied by Demonology and Affliction warlocks. Any deep demonology warlock (0/56/15 or similar) takes this talent because ISB is our filler and provides a large portion of our damage. Destruction warlocks don't take it since Destruction is Fire based, and Affliction takes it because they need to dump to get Ruin.

Just a minor issue, it appears that all 3 hunter specs are getting an active green check for bleed damage, despite the fact that it should only be 'maybe' for BM, and not at all for MK and SV, since rhinos count as exotic pets.

Cats and raptors can also apply a bleed debuff regardless of spec, and MK hunters put up a bleed as part of their normal rotation due to Piercing Shots.

Mana Regen Pet - Outdated, Water Elemental no longer provides a minor mana regen during it's existence, instead the talent now causes Frostbolt to trigger Replenishment.

Minor point, but both demonology and affliction provide spell critical stike chance (aka scortch debuff) via the improoved shadowbolt debuff. Currently you don't have demonology spec as providing this.
Also you have CoEl as "[w]". It's now the same strength as the equivalant debuffs so it doesn't deserve the "[w]", though it is a slight dps loss so it deserves a "~" compared to the other classes' debuffs.

Why Feral gives "maybe" for Insect Swarm? Ferals don't spec into it... At least I haven't seen any.
While I understand "maybe" for Power Word: Fortitude and Blessing of Kings coming from scrolls, "maybe" for Mark of the Wild is wrong, because it's certain.
On a sidenote scroll buffs appearing here are weird imo, it's external source of buff not coming from a class.
This way we could add +AP, +SP + Stam bonus coming from Fish feast, because it's highly probable for someone to bring one.
edit: clarified and added personal sidenote.

Not sure about the web browser based one, but I'm in the process of updating the in-game RaidComp addon at the moment. It should be ready by the end of the week.

Slightly earlier than previously advertised, the in-game version of RaidComp is (mostly) up to date and ready for use with 4.0.1. You can download it from Curse here.

Doesn't look like the version hosted on mmo-c is updated yet, great work updating the add on though.
For those of us who don't like using excess add ons, I just use GC's post in the cata discussion forums.
GC's list happened before some key Hunter changes, like Focus and BM pet buffs. So BM pets aren't listed, and Replenishment from Hunters is inaccurate, besides those things everything else is fine.

Scroll down a bit to see his post.

Based on this list [Cataclysm] Raid Buffs and Debuffs I tried to mimic raidcomp.mmo-champion.com functionality in excel which would be useful for 4.0.1. Only for 10man version though and without a lot of testing so feel free to report any mistakes.

Hi, I was just wondering if there's any interest at all in an online tool like this anymore. I am currently making one which is updated for 4.0.1, to the best of my ability. It's still in the early stages, so I'm just wondering if anyone even still has any interest in something like this.

Not to stomp over any work you are currently undergoing in developing a new tool, but a guild member released a functional, updated raid composition tool. It has several more features than the one mmo-champion uses and seems to be quite promising. I'm sure there our other guilds besides ours interested in these types of tools, so I'd definitely recommend checking it out at Cataclysm Raid Composer
