In what order would you put the bosses in bwl difficulty-wise? We finally got enough rogues online to kill vael yesterday and are going to work on broodlord tonight and i was wondering if they keep getting harder (i've kept myself relativley in the dark about the instance ahead with the exception of loot and boss' names.)

So 1 being easiest 6 being hardest (exclude chromaggus and nefarius for now since their current forms are apparently cockblocks) what's the order?

1 Broodlord
2 Razorgore
3 Flamegor (if he doesn't do the bugged taunt freak-out)
4 Ebonroc (if he doesn't do the bugged taunt freak-out)
5 Vael
6 Firemaw (if he doesn't do the bugged taunt freak-out)

Now how much harder is Firemaw than Broodlord? not all that much. The chance of something going horribly wrong on Firemaw is pretty high, same with Vael. The only times we don't kill any of the drakes on the first try has usually been due to the bugged taunt freak-out. Broodlord is stupidly easy now though, and the last time we started a fresh BWL instance we killed razorgore, vael and Broodlord all on the first try. I hope we can do the same thing with the 3 drakes tomorrow.

Edit: Oh and in terms of a scale of most entertaining to least from my perspective:

Most Entertaining
Nefarion
Razorgore
Vael
Chromaggus (post-fix)

Broodlord, Firemaw, Ebonroc, Flamegor
Least Entertaining

I disagree somewhat.

From easiest to hardest, I'd say:
Broodlord, Razorgore, Ebonroc, Flamegor, Vaelastrasz, Firemaw

I think the drakes are a lot of fun, for what it's worth. There aren't any fights that I find tedious. Ebonroc would be the closest to that, just because he'd be trivial if not for the buggy taunts.

When you are rating difficulty are you doing it by difficulty of execution, understanding the encounter, potential for something to go wrong and quickly wipe the raid?

Hmm. I guess a bit of both. Right now, I go into every boss except Firemaw and Flamegor confident that we'll kill him on the first try barring something truly bizarre happening.

Razorgore and Vael are complicated to learn and can be frustrating in the process, but once you've got them down they're really pretty straightforward.

Broodlord is the easiest boss in BWL. He's not complicated, and once you've learned him, it's a sure kill.

The drakes are pretty tough. Firemaw is the toughest of the three I think. He has the nastiest gimmick. He'll take a lot of practice, but once you get him, the next two are basically watered-down versions of him.

I think every guild that has killed Firemaw has gotten Ebonroc and Flamegor down within the next day or two thereafter.

Well fun-wise I have liked what i've seen thus far. Friday night razorgore took us 2 tries to bring down (same as the week before, and 3 tries the week before that) and vael took us about 4 to finally get (try number 2 being a 1% whipe where 3 of us warriors used shieldwall >.<)

I'm hoping the knowledge we aquired plays in to the rest of the instance because vael really did throw us for a loop. It completly throws out the way we've been tanking raid level mobs for the past 6 months and made us learn a very instinct oriented swap method.

Whatever the case may be, us exo folk are hurling ourselves headfirst at this content, sucking up massive durability costs, and loving every minute of it. :-D

I hope to christ we can get enough attempts in BWL to kill razorgore. Vael may be hard, but it seems it will be alot more fun to learn than Razorgore. Razorgore is killing alot of peoples' ambitions :/

Broodlord, Razorgore, Ebonroc, Flamegor, Vaelastrasz, Firemaw is almost certainly true (especially after our clear today  ) though aside from Vael and possibly Firemaw they are all relatively easy once you get your strategy down and just work on tight execution.

The need to maintain precise positioning is what makes Firemaw interesting. However, when they fix the freakout bug on the drakes this may become less of a concern. Makes sense from a design standpoint with Razorgore being the initiation and Vael, Broodlord (at least the first time around), Firemaw and Chromaggus providing the difficulty and testing your raid group from a variety of pespectives.

Vael
and Vael

Those are the best fights in BWL. Three of them cast shadow flame a lot though!

In all seriousness, I think this is my list. Starting with my favorite, it's Firemaw, Vaelastrasz, Ebonroc, Broodlord, Flamegor, and then Razorgore.

As for the most difficult, it's definitely Vael and Firemaw at the top. It's all about execution and the ability to compensate for losses on the fly.
