I have been trolling your forums for a while now, mostly to see whats going on in the brand new content in WoW (Also because many of your posts are entertaining, but i digress.) Finally I have a serious question to ask of you.

Im in a guild that is a little slow in the end content, and we have finally conquered the Core. After putting MC to farm status we have decided to venture into the notorious Blackwing Lair. One reason we are a little slow on end content is because if you can atleast play the game and are not a complete idiot and or @$$hat you have a place in our ranks. While this has made for entertaining guild chat it has brought up a few problems with some of our members who aren't... quite up to par with the rest of us.

So my question is: Is BWL for the best and not the rest? Does every member have to be functioning at their "A-Game"? Can one member messing up really ruin the whole raid? While MC was a challenge, if one player isn't functioning at 100% someone can still pull their weight (At least thats how i've percieved it.)

I know its a lot at once, and for that i apologize. I tend to get carried away

I don't think you know what Trolling means. So let me use this to be an example.

Why did you type @$$hat. at dollar dollar hats are nothing to joke about.

BWL used to be challenging. Blizzard fixed that. Feel free to take your idiots and asshats.

Eh, BWL is still quite hard. A raid in which even a few people do not do their jobs will fail. This is typically not the case in MC.

One time, I pulled agro and Chupid saved my life. If he hadn't been at the keyboard instead of watching the football game, I'm fairly sure the entire raid was doomed at that point.

True story.

Overall, it's not too bad. There's a few parts where everyone has to bring their a-game, but it's been so excessively nerfed at this point that you can still squeeze by after making a lot of mistakes. It definitely remains harder, but you learned how to deal with a lot of what's in there by doing the other dungeons in the game.

The Lyceum in BRD prepped you for part. Various boss fights prepped you for other parts. UBRS prepped you for a lot of places in there. There's a few new and interesting tricks or quirks, but a determined group should be able to make decent progress in BWL if they don't have too much difficulty in MC. Most of the boss fights simply require an understanding of the boss, itself; then an execution on par with what it takes to drop Sulfuron or Majordomo. People just have to pay attention.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but the fights here are a tad harder to execute than Sulfuron.
