I'm grabbing it from the Mininova torrent, but it's pretty slow unfortunately. If it ends up finishing tonight I'll try to post an update for folks who might be interested but don't want to potentially waste the hours downloading it.

A full enUS ISO has added to piratebay, also only one seeder, so is coming slow atm:

Finished downloading mininova torrent - it's legit, all files check out.

Should also have a lot more seeds now as a bunch of people just finished.

Mininova torrent checks out, though I'm having some issues with installing the US client, as I already had the EU client installed. When I run installer.exe, it only gives me the option to play or uninstall. Is there any way to specify the install path so that it doesn't check to see if it is already installed? I'd prefer not to fully reinstall, but I'll do that if it is necessary.

Rename your EU folder, should work.

Note anyone playing on RU servers - back up the (ruRU version) 3.0.1-to-3.0.2 patch before installing WotLK. The installation reverts your client to 3.0.1 enGB and will try to download 3.0.1-to-3.0.2 enGB as soon as it finishes installing - overwriting the ruRU version of the patch.

After installing the language pack, apply your old patches and you get a working wotlk client.

Also FU blizzard for including all the european versions EXCEPT ruRU on the disk. >.>

I compared the md5 checksum of the torrent client with those posted above.

Exactly the same for all files, but the movies.mpq and Installer Tome.mpq.

My Guess is: they didn't include the movies in more than one language, and also only included the soundfiles for the main language. At least my installation is missing the german and spanish lichking soundfiles and movies. (and those extra 900 mb for the movies, as well as the extra 900 for the soundfiles would have been beyond the limit of a single DVD)

I've been running the install from the PB ISO for two days now without any problems.

Indeed, and that number has been fluctuating downward to only 74 right now. Definitely not a basket that I would be stuffing with eggs.

Looks like you can get wrath from Blizzard themselves:

It starts the Blizzard downloader, a menu pops up asking which WoW client you would like.

Looks like the official blizzard link is working again.

Well I'm currently downloading/installing 1.9 gigs worth of WOTLK using that installer. However, it never asked me for a directory or even told me where my directory was. Guess I'll find out soon enough if it's installing in the proper place and manner.

It is almost assuredly the path specified in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Blizzard Entertainment/World of Warcraft/InstallPath

I assume it knows where your WoW directory is since I had WoW open at the time the download started and it wouldnt actually start downloading till WoW was closed.

EDIT: Download works, it's patching to 3.0.2 now.

Getting an error on that, seems like its getting hammered.

Anyone else getting the same? Or does it work as long as you can start it?
