Can the people who experienced the bug confirm if they had BM hunters? Some attempt to narrow it down elsewhere seems to point at it possibly being related to Ferocious Inspiration being applied in conjunction with another buff, bugging something out and repeatedly applying the 3% multiplier.

There was a similar sort of symptom from Serpent Sting in beta. Perhaps the bug has come back to haunt us?
I don't remember the damage figures being quite so ridiculous then though.

I have actually experienced something that looks like this bug. We were doing a timed Strat run, and I play BM. Our tank was a DK, and we were about to kill the extra boss for the mount. I was suprised that the mob went from 400k to 0 in about 10 seconds.
The rest of the group was still catching up with us, and personally I only got to do around 2.8k dps on him. I found it odd at the time, but I regret I hadn't taken a screenshot of it.

Has anyone had any problems with Ley-Guadrian Eregos in Oculus where he despawns? We are trying the strategy using all 5 emerald drakes, and after so long he randomly despawns for seemingly no reason. Everytime he does we are all still near him.

If you drop below the altitude of the top platform in the Occulus, he can despawn. Make sure none of the drakes are flying that low, ever.

We experienced it once. After thinking a moment, we concluded we might have flown to low, i.e. lower than the platform he circles around.
Since we keep an eye on what altitude we are flying, we never had the problem anymore.

We just got Gotta Go! down today in our second night of attempts. Id personally never done the instance so I wanted to do a scouting clear last night. We did find it easiest to hold at 79-77% for a good cast ( our kill was finally a pound there ) and ditto at 30%.
With a little higher DPS, only our tank and 1 DPS is truly overgeared for a heroic, it seems "sort" of repeatable. Still, it is good its getting balanced. Our makeup was Prot Warrior, DPS Warrior, Rogue, Hunter, Resto shaman as ele\enh hybrid for better melee totems and his DPS. We lucked out in that we had one of the more optimal groups for it just with one of our normal groups.
The Hunter snake poison was definitely key to our win.

I was wondering if there was a better way of doing the 2 whirlwind bosses as a rogue. Currently the first boss of heroic nexus(if you go left) and the 3rd boss of Utguard Pinnacle both have rather nasty whirlwinds which seem to have no warning. All I noticed ws that if I wait for a whirlwind I get about 10 secs of safe dps time, is there any clever trick to spot this without mods?
I know the one in HoL tells you he can cast by stance emotes.
Not hard bosses but would be nice to know if I'm missing a trick or if Blizzard just enjoys 1 shotting rogues not prepared to stand round watching for 40% of the fight?
Note if your healers awake I normally can stay in until I see the ww in UP but seems like bad luck or milisecond slow reactions mean death. 1 hit in Nexus though seems to be 22 k on a regular basis.

Does anyone know if you are on the heroic difficulty of a raid, say Malygos, if the loots from 10 man Malygos are available as well? Or if I'm downing Patchwerk on Heroic, if he still drops some of his 10man gear?

For the Utgarde boss you can have your melee run in one direction while the tank runs the other, the boss is tauntable when he whirlwinds, so you can ensure it is led away from the rogues. I'm not sure if this works in the Nexus.

No, loot tables are distinct.

What about Jersey? Mafioso, murderers, addicts, juvenile vagrants, Bon Jovi. Here they praise these felonious people. Blighted little Jersey: guns, hookers, Goombas, Atlantic City. "Come home, criminal miscreants" reads the tourism website. And here come the hucksters, racketeers, trannies, and every korrupt-cop. Jersey, news flash: Criminals rarely benefit children, businesses, or organizations.

After a long weekend of running heroics, I noticed a couple of things that haven't been mentioned thus far:
* in UK, you can MC a Runecaster and cast his Rune of Protection on an Ice Tombed target to absorb all the damage, although I'm not particularly sure how useful this would be given the loss of the Priest's DPS.
* in the Old Kingdom, you can tell where the next Twilight Volunteer is going to come from by watching where Jedoga is facing.
* in Halls of Lightning, the white line in front of Loken is a great marker for illustrating where your group is supposed to run together to when dodging Nova.
Also, is anyone having trouble targeting mobs in Halls of Stone/Lightning? Particularly between a doorway, it seems I can never click on them properly.

Pretty sure that's the new phasing thing not allowing you to target something in a different subzone. Why it shows up in those places I don't know.

That only happens for me right after entering, guess it's because of the entrance portal there.

I notice portals, interact-able objects (TITAN RELIC, I'M LOOKING AT YOU) and a lot of scenery seem to cause issues with targeting things right now. I noticed it as well in Thaddius' room over the weekend, when the door seemed to be "blocking" my cursor.

I think it's just a problem with camera zoom and having sort of invisible terrain in between your cursor and what you want to click. You can still use tab-target and /target fine, the game just won't recognize that you want to click on them.

The Nexus boss just whirlwinds on the tank, so the melee need only run away.

We encountered a very nasty bug yesterday in Drak'Tharon Keep on Prophet Tharon'ja.
WoW cannot "double" shape shift. That was once given by blue as a reason why druids cannot use the "Halloween rods" and Noggenfogger in forms.
We used a feral tank and whenever Tharon'ja transformed us into skeletons the druid switched out of bear and into skeleton and after the skeleton phase from skeleton back into bear. Unfortunately, this switch goes over the elf form which you can see in the morph animation. (It happens automatically, you don't have to switch back to bear form yourself.)
We had about 4 or 5 wipes because Tharon'ja kept hitting the tank in elf form for more than 10'000 multiple times before the bear form was reapplied. I don't know if our streak of bad luck was because the tank plays with a bad latency (ISDN) but if you check out wowhead you'll notice that we were not the only one with this problem.
Our "solution" was to just have someone grab aggro and let the druid get the aggro back as soon as she is back in bear. Not really a solution but at least we got the loot.
Tharon'ja should remember that shifted druids are immune to polymorph effects...

Additionally, at least for the Dwarven Boss version, the whirlwind has a lengthy channelling time and only hits at the very end. Its quite painful (up to 16k on plate!) but can be easily outran.

I immediately walk backwards after the phase change to counter this. It seems that Tharon'ja takes 1-2 seconds to come engage me after the phase change which is enough time to be dropped back into Bear Form. I have lived every time since I started doing this.

Last night I was standing under a streetlamp in Dalaran. The circle of light cast from the top of the lamp interfered with targeting. I could rotate my camera and target things, but if I looked at people with this veil of light between us I could not mouse over toons or click on them.

I believe the targetting bug first started occurring quite a few patches ago when they 'fixed' the ability to select mobs through walls (I remember this being a major pain in Kara for the first couple of weeks afterwards). Basically anything that creates a layer (whether its an effect or a solid object) between your camera view and your target will prevent you from selecting said target with a mouse click.

I know it's been touched upon a little in this thread but does anyone have any further tips on pulling off Less-rabi? We're down to five achievements to finish Glory of the Raider; two are RNG (Lockdown and A Void Dance), one we'll get tomorrow (Make It Count), one I'm resigned to not getting till it's patched (Gotta Go!) and this one, which I believed we've failed around thirty times now.
Has anybody figured out at what percentage HP his cast time becomes impossible to interrupt outside of blind luck or guessing? We've tried Hammer of Justice > Mind Freeze > Counterspell, with the CS landing at about 40%, and he always seems to be able to squeeze one more out at the end. We always have our cool downs ready, always have a heroism and dual totems. We've tried mixing in Earth Shock but nothing works out for us.

The phase changes that the Prophet makes you cast seem to be affected by haste rating, which is why casters tend to be shifted first, and the tank last.

We did this with 1 tank (prot warrior) and 4 DDs (affliction lock, mage, ret paladin, balance druid) with the paladin and druid healing the tank for the first 50% while DPS'ing. Lock and warrior interrupted the first 2-3 casts, the mage counterspelled a cast at about 28% (I think it was a .6 second cast). After the counterspell you have 8 seconds to burn him down.
