It would make sense, Quintessence is probably the big barrier to taking tourists through who never saw it in the first place.

Feats of Strength do not imply that they are unattainable anymore. Several of them (such as bloodsail admiral) are simply very difficult or time consuming to obtain.
While it would be fantastic to remove the need to douse runes in MC, I'm not sure blizzard is concerned about it enough to remove the mechanic.

On the other hand, Northrend flasks already didn't require an alchemy lab, and this patch is changing things so that no flasks do anymore. So who knows?

New stuff has been added to Blizz's patch notes, like lifting of the same-realm DK restriction, a buff for ghost form, and the "missing" Hunter nerfs and Arcane Mage buffs.

What about Jersey? Mafioso, murderers, addicts, juvenile vagrants, Bon Jovi. Here they praise these felonious people. Blighted little Jersey: guns, hookers, Goombas, Atlantic City. "Come home, criminal miscreants" reads the tourism website. And here come the hucksters, racketeers, trannies, and every korrupt-cop. Jersey, news flash: Criminals rarely benefit children, businesses, or organizations.

It would be extremely difficult to get the Quintessence at this point, my Death Knight has been soloing Molten Core and you get 1 rep per trash kill and 20 rep per boss. =/
Same also applies to any Burning Crusade Dungeons, I was soloing the heroic difficulties and the rep was pretty abysmal.

I imagine they'll have to drop the rep descaling as you level thing at some point, or getting that rep will be essentially impossible. They already dropped quest rep descaling, so mob rep descaling should hopefully come at some point.

Thank god the frostbite change didn't make it through. You would have had seen mages topping every single meter, regardless of fight.
|

Log on with different model:
1- Create a character of the desired model. Log on/off.
2- At character selection screen, select your actual character; mouseover the new, desired model character, and hold down left click; hit enter and release left click at the same time.
bug Arcane Potency only applies to the first Arcane Missile bolt.

While I'm sure my Ret brother's aren't liking the Pally changes, I, as a Prot Pally, love the fact that I'll be getting more stam and will be able to use Avenging Wrath without worrying about losing my oh-shit button for too long.
I'm also happy to see that Toughness turned in to stam so I'll be getting much more of a benefit from it.

I'm disappointed that they figured out that [Titansteel Guardian] was a bit better than it should have been.

The Avenging Wrath change helps Ret as much as it does Prot: You can use your wings without as much fear that bubble won't be available for those key moments, and vice-versa.
Seal of Blood got buffed, Seal of Command got buffed, and we're getting a straight 6% DPS increase from left-field with the 5-stacked Vengeance.
Coupled with the new Prot taunt and other buffs, plus the Holy soloing and Glyph changes, and this patch is solidly within buff territory for Paladins.

Huh, I just assumed that its spellpower was higher due to spending some extra budget on it, since its other stats seemed lackluster for its ilvl.
Still, I got to see the look on a co-worker's face, who got one crafted just last night.

Daelo just confirmed they are in fact removing the requirement of Quitessences to summon Majordomo along with player requirements for summoning old world bosses in certain instances.
We've made some changes to several dungeons to allow easier access for players in the upcoming patch.
The ritual objects that used to require 3 players to activate in Blackrock Spire and Uldaman now only require 1.
You no longer need quintessence to summon Majordomo Executus.
You no longer need the Scepter of Celebras to teleport to the final section of Maraudon.
You no longer need the Mallet of Zul'Farrak to summon Gahz'rilla.
The Scepter and Mallet both turn into actual weapons.

You can still get Rivendare's Deathcharger, but the droprate is horrendous. I'm assuming Quintessence has the same idea behind it. (Honored Hydraxian Waterlords on my Paladin at level 80?)
Surprised to see them make that change and leave Hydraxian Waterlord (and Brood of Nozdormu) rep as achievements. (Even Brood at least has the boss turnins that don't depreciate with level.)

I am assuming they are still going to retain the item budget and replacing the 82 spell power with some Int or Mp5. Just stripping away spell power without compensating in any way is just another Frozen Shadoweave debacle waiting to happen.

Speaking of which, is there an Item level calculator available anymore?
http://wow.virakar.com/stats/itemlevel.html seems to be gone, and the others I find are severely out of date.

As far as I know, no one has written an item stats tool ever since WotLK itemization showed that the old understanding of ilvl was flawed.

Seeing the droprate was buffed pre-WOTLK, do you have any source of this being changed back again?
Still want to farm this sometime, but have to much to do currently in the expansion.

The old understand was just fine, thanks. The formula was changed with Wrath making the old understanding obsolete.
iLvl is a contrived valued. It's based on the individual value given to constituent stats and their weightings. When Wrath changed the relative value of those weights, the old formula stopped working. iLvl isn't actually a real number, hidden in the item. It's a "thing" that you can back engineer on stat-ed items once you know the relative weights of sta, agi, int, spi, str, ap, ArP, spell power, etc. etc.
You could never generate an iLvl for a trinket with an unusual proc for this reason. You'd have to trust if it dropped in a zone with iLvl 213 epics, it was an iLvl 213 epic. It's also why trinkets are sometimes so darn overpowered.

Rubbish. ilvl is part of an item description, is contained in the data files, and can be data mined just like any other piece of information about an item.

While that is true, the actual item level itself is not typically what people are interested in. What people usually care about is whether the item is underbudget for it's item level or not. The Titansteel Guardian does look underbudget if you remove it's extra spell power, all it has left then is 58 Stamina and 29 Crit Rating, which seems awfully low for an item level 200 item.
Compare it to the extra stats in addition to the spellpower these items have: [Grieving Spellblade], [Blade of Dormant Memories]
Both of those are also of the same item level, and yet have an amount of stats which can not simply be explained by them being spread better.
Compare also to [War Mace of Unrequited Love], while it has a much lower spread of stats (Only intellect and mana/5), it has both of these stats in a much relatively higher amount than the Titansteel Guardian does. (Intellect being more expensive then Stamina, and Mana/5 especially being more expensive then crit rating)

Hmm, pre-wotlk you at least got 100rep per MC boss, with 200 for Majordomo, and Ragnaros.
I have not been there since the week prior to the 13th of November. Really only 20 rep? Damn. At 1200rep/run it was actually possible to get exalted within 5~ months of going there. Not any more then

You get 1/5th rep for grey mobs, and it seems boss level mobs have a hidden level(probably (level of the content) + 3) that's used for this calculation.

This is false information. The droprate is 1%, and that is a heck of a lot better than it used to be.
[Deathcharger's Reins]
This is why serious farming of the Deathcharger increased 100x. It's now possible to calculate how long it's likely to take.

Unfortunately this really doesn't do shit for Holy Soloing - to keep myself in mana, I will have to use Seal of Wisdom with the JoW changes. So the only damage buff I'm seeing here is 25% to my judgements. They should have just made it x% of your SP to Shield of the Righteous, which would have made that a much more interesting choice in my Solo-Rotation.
