Just curious on how shamans have your buttons setup?
I use to play a rogue using WASD, mouse to look, and i'm constantly moving to backstab. As of now, I have every single totem, item buff, shocks, and healing wave each bound to a key. Some using Shift+1-6, and others using buttons like Q, and E. The thing about using WASD is that it's kind of hard to hit Shift+7-9, it's possible if i take my right hand off the mouse :D

I have totems on totem bar, so I can click when I need them.
I dont much like the Alt/Shift system for extra buttons.
I have most offensive spells near my left hand.
1-6 for offense.
I have e as lesser heal wave and Nature's Swiftness as tab, with q as greater heal wave, for those times when you just need an insta heal :)
I do a lot of party healing by mouse, as benecast lets me keep my target while healing party members.

Oh man this is so awesome!!!
|
1 - Chain heal
2 - Earth shock
3 - Frost shock
4 - Purge
5 - Earthbind (Or assist)
6 - Strength of earth (or tremor or whatever earth I will be using most.)
7 - Grace of Air (Or windfury or grounding or whatever air I will be using most.)
8 - Nature's Swiftness
9 - Lightning shield
0 - Windfury (Or flametongue if I am using that most.)
- - Lesser healing wave
= - Healing wave
The other totems are either on a side bar or a few shift/arrow/numeric away from being cast. Doesn't take but a second either way.
I don't really cast or do anything with my mouse unless I feel lazy and play with one hand.
Like dis: Bootan!!

ok
1-NS
2-HW
3-LHW rank 6
4-LHW rank 7
5-chain heal
6-purge
I used flexbar to create a 4x5 box to put all my totems in(well the important ones, sentry totem is not on there)
my wasd is tfgh
u-earthshock rank 1
r-earthshock
e-frost shock
w-flame shock
y-chain lightening
b-grounding totem
j-attack
Those are the important ones. I can basically do almost all of it without having to move my left hand.

Posting interface pictures saves so much time and effort.

I am just a lowly warrior but my interface is as such;

I don't know why I have the CTRaid stuff up, I just like being able to see who dies.

My key layout is horrendously inefficient. I haven't really moved spells around since December or so when I was level 30 and stopped learning new abilities, and I've never assigned any hotkeys, so I use a combination of 1 through =, and lots of shift-2, shift-3, etc., to use most of my skills, and then some things get clicked on manually from a sidebar.
I really need to take the plunge and completely overhaul my keybindings and such and then learn how to use them again. After far, far too many hours of playtime playing only a shaman and no alts, though, it may just be more trouble than it's worth relearning such ingrained habits.

Yeah, that's basically how I feel about it too. I have 1 to = and Shift-1 to Shift-5 bound to really important spells. Shift-6 to Shift-= are spells I swap in on occasion like curses. Combat consumables are on one bar on the right side, Food/drink and Summon Dreadsteed is on the left in a bar that disappears while in combat. Pet summons, pet bar, self buffs and party buffs live in their own hidden bars that show up when I mouse over them. My interface is fairly complex but looks pretty clean for the most part. It's not worth it to me to relearn everything now that I've been playing with it like this for so long.
Warlock posting in Shaman thread because we have approximately as many buttons to press as you guys.

I dont play anymore but when I did I had all my heals and poison/disease cleanse on 1-6, natures swiftness on `, and all my offensive abilities bound to various mouse buttons (<3 my MX1000 with its 3 thumb buttons and two extra buttons around the wheel)
It wasnt the most efficient setup, especially since I still had to manually click for totems, but my shocks, purge, ghost wolf, lightning shield and all my heals were a simple finger motion away and I could use them while moving around easily.

What keys are bound (visually) http://www.lolwhat.com/wow/bodomsetup.jpg
^^^ thats old.
updates:
numpad5 = lightning bolt
numpad6 = chain lightning
page down = cure poison
end = purge
home = chain heal
its a crazy setup but i never played WASD so i have used the numpad area for every game ive ever played. i also dont have any totems bound but i may end up doing so.
its not the greatest setup for pvp since it requires a lot of mouse movement but then again i rarely pvp at all anymore (i blame you, alliance)

hehe, cant say I have even experienced it(using sentry to save me that is). I rarely even log on anymore unless it is for a raid. I think if the news about the expansion is true I will be back to doing my regular quest grind. Flying mounts sound cool.

W is frost shock, shift+W earth shock, alt+W flame shock
A is LHW, shift+A chain heal, alt+A HW
D Lightning Bolt, Shift+D Chain Lightning, alt+D Lightning Shield
Q is Purge, alt+Q is Windfury Weapon
E is cure poison, shift+E is cure disease
S is target self
G is autoattack
I use Totembar to keep all totems clickable, but have a four totem lineup on buttons 1-4. Permanent totem buttons are shift+Z grounding, shift+X earthbind, shift+C grounding.
I move with my arrow keys like a tard so this lets my left hand do all the fun stuff.

1:attack, Shift1:WF
2:assist/mount for farming, Shift2: Purge
3:LB, Shift3:CL
4-6:max rank Earth,Flame,Frost Shock, Shift4-6: rank1
7-9:LHW,Chainheal,HW
0:NS, Shift0: NS healingwave Macro
-:Zandalar Charm
=:Res
I use discord action bars, so I have a Custom bar for all my buff totems in a 4
row grid for each element, and I've got max rank and rank 1 of all the fire totems, magma for the flag in AB is sweet. I've got another box for all my consumables and ghostwolf and my scouting spells (farsight, sentry and spyglasslol) and then a bar for my tradeskills and equipment on the right side under the minimap.
