Already read and archived that thread as soon as you mentioned the CQ post in your original response :)

As for this being abour Broodlord - no - it was a general plea for help in diagnosing whether our tanks or our DPS is the problem with some aggro issues that have cropped up. Our raid isn't pushing the aggregate damage that it should because it lost confidence in the tanks - that's being restored now - and should improve things.

On Broodlord, he's the current wall for the raid. We've got all our tanks in 6+ might, 1-2 Wrath, Drillborer's allround etc... and our tanks are just getting wiped. We're locking a paladin and priest to individual tanks so that no one is more than .75 seconds from a heal with the rest swing healing - and our tanks are just getting smoked. :blink:

We've tried a couple tanks with flasks (putting them to dang near 10K HP after buffs) and they're still getting smoked (though they are lasting a bit longer on average). I don't know if we're just getting unlucky, if we need to expect the fight to last less than 3 minutes because that's when we run out of tanks (including combat ress/Soulstone), or what. We haven't resorted to an OOC resser just yet - but it's borderline right now.

I don't feel like we're hitting an aggro threshold right now - our tanks aren't living long enough for that. <_< Feels more like the cieling keeps dropping in on us as the tanks drop, not that we're actually climbing to it.

Well unless they are going from full to dead in under half a second its your healers that are the problem.

Under half a second with two healers per tank spamming flash of light/flash heal on (as stated) 4+ tanks wearing just about the best gear you could be expected to have at this level. When our Tanks go down it's because there was a Blastwave/MS/attack combo. Any one or two of those alone and we get the tank back up.

I think we've just been unlucky with insta-gibs and it's colored our understanding of the fight.

Warrior deaths are pretty close to unavoidable when you get a MS and blastwave at the same time, it shouldn't happen to every tank though unless you are very unlucky.
