Sunwell bosses were basically forbidden from being discussed until they had about 50 live kills, if i remember correctly. I'd err on the side of caution and not discuss it.
50 live kills and 1 week after the first kill, I think. Better to wait for one of the regulars to start it.
MMO-Champion BlueTracker - Change Hearthstones to 30 Minutes.
Long story short, Hearthstone cooldown will be shortened to 30 minutes in 3.1, as partial compensation for ghetto-hearting from an instance sending you to a graveyard instead of hearth location. It's also one of the fastest reversals, and strangest blue threads, I've read.
So I am upploading my first run around in ulduar for every one to see, there is no boss interaction, just running around till the instance server crashed. The video is rather large but File Front Should have a stream up of it soon too.
There are some very cool areas of ulduar. It's the best designed instance since AQ40 IMO, a lot of beautiful textures and scenery. And the Yog Saran room where I eventually DC makes my cockles of my heart warm. As well as the Celestial room. I'll edit this when the video is finished with the upload.

I'm not entirely certain that AQ40's "vast intertwined maze of cavernous chambers" theme was exactly the pinnacle of instance design. Especially since large portions of it looked no different than the multitude of similar underground lairs littered around Silithus. I've always been partial to the more detailed designs of Black Wing Lair or Karazhan (and Naxx40, though now I've spent so much time in the new Naxx recently that I'm sick of it) than the huge expanses of places like Molten Core or AQ40.
Looking forward to the video to judge for myself though as far as Ulduar is concerned.

I would have never thought that Eyonix would take the issue of hearth cooldowns so personally.

It's the size of AQ40 or Naxx, with the design detail of Karazhan. If you go watch the very old preview video from back in beta, it looks nothing like it anymore. The basic structures are still there, but a) that's just Inner Ulduar, and b) the lighting effects didn't exist at the time. Something that they did really well with was a sort of "dark-lit" effect on the walls - there are many bright objects, but they fail to brighten the zone at all, which really lends a great air to it; this screenshot shows what I mean (credit to MMO-Champion):
Suffice it to say that Ulduar has the same level of design detail as Storm Peaks did, only packed into an instance instead of a huge zone.
Here are some of the changes I've spotted, I might have missed some stuff or some might not be new.
Check the link for better info.
General
• New high-resolution player textures for Northrend armor sets have been added. Players can enable this feature by setting Player Textures to High in the Effects Panel of the Video Options.
• Players can now return items purchased with an alternate currency back to the original vendor within 2 hours of the purchase time for the original cost of the item. Stackable items (such as Frozen Orbs and gems) and charged items that can be purchased with an alternate currency are not eligible.
• Confirmation boxes have been added to purchases over 150 gold.
Druids
• Lifebloom: Mana cost of all ranks doubled. When Lifebloom blooms or is dispelled, it now refunds half the base mana cost of the spell per application of Lifebloom, and the heal effect is multiplied by the number of applications.
• Heart of the Wild: Stamina bonus changed to 2/4/6/8/10%.
Hunters
• Ammunition: All types of gun and bow ammunition now stack to 1000. All quivers and ammo pouches no longer provide haste. 15% ranged haste is now built in to Hunter Autoshot.
• Cunning, Ferocity and Tenacity pets now all have +5% damage, +5% armor and +5% health bonuses. This should make more pet families feel viable, while additional talents have been added to distinguish a pet’s abilities based on its specializations.
• Pets now inherit more spell hit from the hunter. Pets with magic attacks should not require a player to stack additional hit compared to pets with physical attacks.
• Viper Sting re-designed: Stings the target, draining 4% of mana over 8 sec (up to a maximum of 8% of the caster's maximum mana), and energizing the Hunter equal to 300% of the amount drained. Only one Sting per Hunter can be active on any one target.
• Explosive Shot: Base damage lowered by 10%. Attack power scaling reduced by 12.5%.
Paladins
• Divine Protection: Cooldown reduced to 3 min.
Priests
• Psychic Horror: Has been redesigned and is now a 1-pt talent. You terrify the target, causing them to tremble in horror for 3 sec. and drop all weapons (disarm effect: including bows) for 10 sec. 1 minute cooldown. Instant cast. The horror effect can be dispelled, but the disarm cannot.
Rogues
• Shiv: This ability can no longer generate a critical strike, and the poisons it applies cannot be critical strikes either.
Warlocks
• Drain Soul: Each time Drain Soul deals damage to a target which can grant experience, it now has a chance to generate a Soul Shard.
• Soul Shard: This item now has a maximum count of 32 in inventory.
Warriors
• Charge: Duration of stun effect now lasts 1.5 sec. This effect no longer has diminishing returns.
• Last Stand: Cooldown reduced to 3 min.
Gia, sorry to tell you but I am sitting on 42 soul shards on the ptr right now, and to be honest I couldn't confirm the Soulshard mechanic as of yet, but I think you may be correct.
Also the enhanced player textures has several bugs in it that essentially "chromes" certain items and hunter pets.
Also not sure about other classes but many tooltips now reflect talented versions of spells and items, for instance Warlock spellstones now reflect the stats given to them by master conjurer, it's a very very nice change.
Edit- Never mind Gia I miss read your post.

The character linked in your profile appears to be below level 10. This may account for your poor Patchwerk DPS.
These changes are not in the current PTR build, I've checked a few already. The source is from blizzard though so they must be in an upcoming build(?).
I hope there is a change to forbearance along with this. Talented divine protection with a 2 minute cooldown triggering 3 minutes of forbearance would be silly.
*Sigh* The warrior stance changes are so worthless. As it stands arms warriors in pvp already have rage generation issues due to shields, slow weapon speed and what not. It's rare to have over 35 rage in PvP as arms, yet arms is the spec that has to stance dance the most, so why is it that we have to suffer the most from the stance changes? We are constantly hoping in and out of different stances, this will just make our rage starvation even worst.

Why? You could still make use of the lowered cooldown on different people. Just like PW:S works for priests.

Huh? I think you misunderstand what Divine Protection is. It is the Paladin equivalent of Shield Wall and is not castable on other players. Therefore, a 3 minute Forbearance on a 2 minute cooldown ability effectively makes the ability a 3 minute cooldown unless you die between the 2:00 and 3:00 minute mark on Forbearance.
It looks like the window might have popped up AFTER the boss was killed. I haven't been able to test it, but I'll see if I can get a Heroic VH tonight or tomorrow to see how/if it can be abused or how it works.

Ugh, sorry, got confused with Hand of Protection, I suck.
I'm sure a lot of people have had trouble getting on the PTR. It took me about 2 and a half hours before I was able to get in for any prolonged period on Friday. So I put together some Panoramas for people to check out and get a better feel for the zone.
I love that Ulduar has so many areas that look distinctly different. This definitely isn't some BT rehash. It's great to see a raid zone that's on par with the WotLK outdoor zones.

This is correct, that window appears after killing anything that will save you to the instance (like Freya´s Trees).

They look terrific, nice work! Where exactly is Yogg-Saron likely to be fought? I was under the impression he is somewhere under the prison, deep in a room/dungeon below Ulduar. But no such exploration videos have shown such a place. Is "The Prison of Yogg-Saron" likely the actual room the encounter will take place in?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the prison is where he is. With all the broken chains and the giant hole in the center, it makes it pretty clear that's where he is.
The next patch is coming up on the PTR, version 9637; looks like we're still in the "iterate quickly" part of the PTR process.
Also, there are some neat additions to creature tooltips, as described here -- NPC tooltips now show if that NPC is needed for a quest that you have active, and why (the drop you need, number that need to be killed, etc.)
Along with the new advanced quest tracking features, this is another UI tweak borrowed from popular quest simplification addons. It's always nice to see the better features of such addons make it into the default UI.
The Emblem of Conquest vendor was added in the current PTR patch. It sells the following items, all ilvl 226:
- Runed Orbs 15 emblems
- Necks for all specs 16 emblems
- Belts 23 emblems
- Gloves 23 emblems
- Legs 32 emblems
- T8 chestpiece 48 emblems
- T8 headpiece 48 emblems
- Deadly gladiator for 38 (shoulders, gloves) and 48 badges (chest, legs, helm)
Runed Orbs being buyable with badges will help a lot in keeping the Emblems of Conquest relevant even after people have bought the gear they want. The new crafted BoE gear will require a lot of orbs each. The prices for other items seem surprisingly low compared to the Valor and Heroism emblem prices. If every boss drops an emblem, a full clear of Ulduar could almost buy you the neckpiece.
EDIT: Also all Naxx-25 relic drops have been added to the Emblem of Valor vendor for 25 emblems each.
That's the 25-man T8 tokens, right? If so, did they add T8-10 tokens to the Valor vendor?
Right now there are only the ilvl213 relics are available for 25 valors added to the vendor, and adding t8.10 to valor would allow heroic-raiders to go straight to the 2-piece bonus without setting foot into ulduar. But it would suck for people who mostly do 10man raids to not be able to buy settokens from vendors.
On the other hand it's weird that they added the head/chest tokens to the vendor, which tend to drop from the last bosses in raids, and the old vendor only offer non-head slots (1. metaslot! 2. drop from the last boss).
Hello.
