I have leveled Bloodsail rep to get the hat during Burning Crusade and subsequently destroying the rep again via cloth hand in's just after so I could level cooking. Since then I have also done the Dire Maul grind for exalted goblin factions for my 40 exalted title (my favourite at the moment).
I don't think I could level Bloodsail from 0/36000 and then redo goblins a 2nd time. The Shen'dralar, Darkmoon Faire and Ravenholdt rep would be ok but not all of it together... I hope I don't give in to myself and try it.

Perhaps it require you to be exalted with goblins and honored with Bloodsail at a given time , but not to be exalted AND honored at the same time.
Also I'm pretty sure that if it's the case they may consider that having the hat is enough so you don't have to regrind your reputation to honored.
I'm currently exalted with Shen'dralar and soon to be with Ravenholdt but I would like if someone could share his experience concerning Darkmoon fair.
What would be the cheapest way to reach exalted? the level 20 inscription cards would require around 1300 stacks of Briarthorn, Swiftthistle, Bruiseweed, and Stranglekelp. Perhaps gathering the old world darkmoon cards (Warlord Elemental...) may help as well as they are currently pretty cheap?

The Sholazar Basin reputation achievement does not require you to be exalted with both factions at the same time. This will probably be the same with Steamwheedle Cartel/Bloodsail.

That's because it's impossible to be exalted with The Oracles and Frenzyheart Tribe at the same time, but it is possible to be up to revered with Bloodsail Buccaneers while being exalted with the whole Cartel.

Where is this insane information coming from? Looking at the achievement pane on the US PTR I do not see any achievements based around those reputations.
One interesting thing I do see as far as achievements go is there is a tab under world events for Darkmoon Faire though it currently just opens an empty page.
The Noblegarden changes look interesting. Based on the calender it appears that it will run from April 12th to April 18th this year.

It's not an Achievement but a Feat of Strength (that's why you can't track it in game).

Achievements are kept in a Database that is available client-side (as are the Spells and Talents database, for instance). Someone knowledgeable can extract these databases from the MPQ files and read the description there.

Well if these are datamined achievements, theres also the distinct possibility that this is just a joke. Remember "Tusker Armageddon (kill 1.000,000 seals) Reward Seal Bashing Club" . That was in the Beta, I seem to remember a couple of others as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Blizzard said that was just an achievement to test, well, achievements. They removed it and made it what it is now (exalted with Kalu'ak) when they were done testing it.
The Noblegarden achievements seem pretty believable, especially since it's been a really lackluster holiday up till now. Shake Your Bunny-Maker gave me a laugh too

If they are adding Noble Garden Achievements, does that mean that they intend 3.1 to hit prior to Noble Garden, giving it an ETA of early April? The only other option I see is them patching it in seperate of 3.1, or expecting people to wait a full year to complete them. Which I guess isn't too bad because I don't recall Noble Garden being part of the overall holiday Meta Achievement, unless they changed the Meta Achievement.

I believe this is correct, although, it can be done simultaneously via Free Knot! - Quest - World of Warcraft.

I was wondering this myself. Looking at last years dates - Easter was March 23rd and Noble Garden coincided with that. Easter this year is April 12th which might be doable for them, but I would be surprised to see them tie themselves to a hard date like that.

It's very possible that Blizzard has a set date later in April, and it's an even greater possibility that they could push some of these changes live pre-3.1.0, in a 3.0.10 patch.

The in-game calendar on the PTR lists Noblegarden as starting on April 12, and running for a week; the live version calendar just has it for that one day. So they are presumably planning on making these changes this year, for all the achievements to be available. Whether that means they have to patch in 3.1 by April 7 at the latest, or they're already planning on another intermediate patch that just has small changes like these achievement changes, only Blizzard knows.

Far as I remember, it's not the first time they put a Holiday Event on the PTR tied into a bigger patch. I seriously doubt we can make anymore of it than that Noble Garden is coming at that time.

I'm almost positive that the revamped Brewfest in '07 was on the PTR but was patched in before the patch that was on the PTR.
Hopefully that sentence isn't too hard to parse . . . .

Yay. I'm so excited.....
So much for my "deep-breath" holiday before Children's Week. I'm trying to decide whether it'll be better to slam my nuts repeatedly in my car door or fly to CA and kick the devs in the nuts. It's a toss-up.
At least they are extending the holiday beyond one day for the extra work. Are there any changes to, say, Brew of the Month achievement, yet? Any other holiday Achievement changes?

It's a retroactive change, but Be Mine! was changed to only require six of the eight candies in order to complete it. The rationale was that it wasn't common enough for people to get all eight candies. The change didn't show up in the diff between the achievements from live to PTR, so the text must not have been updated, while the actual conditions had been.

I hope blizzard comments on if you need both bloodsail and steamwheedle at honored/exalted at the same time or not. Grinding up the bloodsail to honored right now and figure ill work on doing the free knot quest to repair steamwheedle until I know for sure.
Also I dont think bloodsail can be retro-ed since the hat is friendly and the feat says honored, but if someone knows if there is something at honored that can retro you, would be nice to know.

Insane is actually working on the PTR, so not a prank.
Darkmoon Faire should be (relatively) a joke now thanks largely to Nobles decks. It's not uncommon to see Chaos and Undeath decks dropping to sub-300g. The difficulty of doing it will vary tremendously from server to server though depending on how many people are gunning for it, since the supply is pretty much a static function of time. (It's not cost-effective in the least to herb up your own decks)
E: Oops, hat is friendly, you're right. Removed that part.

According to this picture "Love is in the Air" had an additional change to it:

I'm not sure it was worth "fixing" the "Be Mine!" achievement if they are balancing it up with adding "Lovely Luck" to the meta.

Everyone I saw in gchat during the event complained about how many dresses they got, so I just assumed based on those 30-40 samples that the dress droprate had been significantly upped. I know I got at least 10 during the course of getting enough candy bags to get Be Mine. Regardless, it would still be a bad change to alter the meta achievement after the fact when people no longer have an option to work on it.

Agreed. Though I got 5 dresses in 7 hours on an alt I was using to try to get rockets and petals for my main, I never actually got a dress on my main. Once I'd finished the achievements that were required for the meta (including 8/8 Be Mine), I stopped being anal about it and just casually hopped on and tried for a dress when I wasn't doing anything else. Retroactively requiring the dress would be kind of a dick move. Of course, it probably won't matter in terms of getting my drake due to the Brew of the Month thing, but it's one more holiday to deal with next year that I'm sure a lot of people thought they were finished with.
The Noble Garden achievements are great though, especially Shake Your Bunny-Maker, which makes me laugh every time I think about it.

The fact that you have to be honored with bloodsail is rather interesting; there is no item or quest that can be obtained at honored and grinding friendly to honored takes no more than an hour at most. So what is the point in asking players to get honored?
I believe it's because gaining honored with bloodsail will ensure that your goblin rep will be 0/36000. This means to have honored bloodsail you’ll then have to grind goblin rep from 0/36000 hated to at least 1/ 1000 exalted.
Because of the requirement for honored instead of friendly, I believe that you’ll need bloodsail and goblin rep at the same time in order to qualify for the achievement. For those that don’t know (most if not all probably do) this is achieved via the quest “Free Knot!” which is obtained from within Dire Maul North.
