We've never recruited. There was a single, brief, illogical moment where we allowed people from GS to transfer over and that's it. 95% of our other invites came about from someone vouching for someone else and us feeling it was ok to let them in.

Also, we've never had a membership cap. Sure, we've verbalized specific numbers, but it was always ultimately based on a gut feel and little else.

We've also booted people (and will continue to do so) for more than just being a naughty person. Excessive inactivity, and plain old stupidity and/or bad fit ("Kaedo Clause") are two reasons that come to mind.
