As you all know from my past posts, you can't log into the game as EJ without walking into a deep and serious guildchat discussion over some of the most important aspects of the game and/or life. Sometimes, it gets pretty heated. Wodin once bit someone IRL for suggesting he transposed two numbers in a calculation, I believe.

It's mind numbing, at times. Our work has driven many a man quite mad, indeed. Regardless, we continue to tirelessly persue our efforts in hopes of making a better game for everyone. I found this bit from a couple months back and realized it is important that the public have their chance to speak out on the subject, as well.

Well first off there are frogs that snap, all snappins is is quickly closing your mouth. Bullfrog and cane toad both can show a snapping motion but I would have to say it is a picture of a mudskipper.

Highly specialised members of the family are the mudskippers, usually ascribed to the subfamily Oxudercinae; these gobies are able to survive for extended periods on land through a combination of behavioural and physiological adaptations, including pectoral fins that act as simple legs; the ability to breathe through their skins (like frogs); and the digging of damp burrows to avoid drying out.

Periophthalmus argentilineatus (= Periophthalmus barbarus) is one of the most widespread mudskippers and can be found in mangroves and mudflats of East Africa and Madagascar east through South East Asia to Australia, Hong Kong and Japan. It grows to a length of about 6 in (15 cm) and feeds on small crabs and other crustaceans. It will also eat mosquito larvae and small fish that it can catch.

OK, so it's fishesque but it's basically medium-term amphibious, so it's gray area. I will stipulate though that is it definately more of a fish than it could be a frog, and since it's in a fish genus I will now admit that I was wrong.

Edit: In my defense, you have to play at 640x400 like Blindthock there to make the icon big enough for it to look like anything but a frog.
