Hey, I was wondering...

How much are the remaining turn-in mats selling for on the Alliance AH these days, and in what volume?

Linen, Wool, Silk, Mageweave, Purple Lotus, Iron (ore/bars), Arthas' Tear, Stranglekelp, Light/Medium Leather

If you could give me average and low-end prices (ignore price-gouging idiots) and a sense of how much of each material tends to be up on your AH, if any, it'd be appeciated.

I'm hoping to coordinate something cool.

Linen Cloth: 60-80s
Wool Cloth: 60-90s
Silk Cloth: 1g-1g40s
Mageweave Cloth: 2g-2g50s
Purple Lotus: Don't Ask
Iron Bars: 3-5g
Arthas' Tear: 8g
Stranglekelp: 5g
Light Leather: 1g
Medium Leather: 1g

Some of these (herbs in particular) are small sample sizes. Prices are per stack, 20 for everything but leather (10).

Light Leather is seriously selling for 1g/stack? Sure that's not just gougers, or are people actually paying that?

Average listed price. I'm not selling light leather (promise) and don't buy it, so I can't tell the difference between an average sale price and someone who bought it all out and raised the price.

On a completely unrelated note, we seem to be advancing very quickly with Arthas' Tears.

Should i change this macro, /1 Buying stacks of 20 linen BANDAGES for 60s, 20 silk BANDAGES for 80s, 10 light leather 25s, medium leather 40s, 20 iron BARS 3g, 20 stranglekelp 3g, 20 purple lotus 4g, and 20 Arthas' tears 5g. CoD to Luno in any quantity. Help the war effort! .

Maybe a little more gold for the stuff we need more. I just don't want to be using the same thing if our objectives change.

No real change for now -- we've been getting a good mix of resources CoD'd so far.

As soon as a couple more turn-ins fill up completely, I'll pare down the list and tweak some things.

I don't mind it. It was entertaining to see how fast I could run the whole place. Before I realized that speccing to get Camo when I'm pure combat was idiotic given the 5 instance limit per hour, I was nabbing all three points in 2 minutes. I managed a 1:45 run (no grave moss), and then realized how stupid I was for wasting respecs on it.

Besides, I'm not a big PvPer, so it provides me with something to do while I wait for an instance run I'm interested in to form.

Or, less eloquently; "Lady, he's putting Agi+15 on my Dal'Rends (if they ever drop)."

As a point of comparison, Luno gets roughly 40 CoDs per night, largely cloth and leather.

Gurgthock gets roughly 40 CoDs every 10 minutes. (And I'm not even exaggerating. I spend 6 hours a day these days doing nothing but removing things from my mailbox and distributing accordingly.)

I can understand people feeling apathetic to opening the gates, but this sort of attitude is really perplexing.

Resentment. They actively don't want to see raiders or Horde in general get better gear that will either be used against them or which they can't have.

What really perplexes me is the Alliance raiders who have this attitude, even though they themselves can and will benefit from AQ content.
