While we're at this, I'd like to ask for any advice on becoming a successful more proactive healer on a mediocre system. I currently, due to monetary situations, play my 60 shaman off of a year old cheap laptop that runs the game, but regularly runs it at 5-8 FPS during raid fights without heavy AoE and about 4-6 during fights with heavy AoE.

I am often in charge of healing my own party, usually mages, and other DPS, though I do my best to situationally patch up tanks or other healers as the case may be, but I find it a bit harder to, given my hardware, tell exactly who will need things next, due to the fact that people fairly regularly skip around on my screen rather than smoothly move from A to B, and mobiles tend to do the same thing. As an example, during Ragnaros AoE knockbacks, if someone is hit, I see the warning, they disappear, and reappear wherever they get knocked to, so I can't just try to catch people in midair and figure out what is going on.

The tools that I use at the moment to keep track of information are CTRaid boxes and EM, and I often parse out classes I'm not worried about on EM or groups that I know will be far away, and I'm intending to start to run damage meters or recap with resets on each boss to track who is getting the highest DPS, and therefore, risking pulling aggro.

In general, if anyone has any good suggestions as to how to anticipate things more accurately from a purely systematic setup, as I can't watch the fight as well as I'd like to keep track of things, I'd love to hear them..

As well, while I"m here.. does anyone know how to set EM to keep track of multiple variables, as an example, say, all of groups 3 and 4, and also all warriors? It seems that if I try to set it basically to that, all I would get would be all warriors in groups 3 and 4, and I'd like to be able to set it to get only the information that I want most since I can use my raid bars to track other variables when things are going well.
