We have an off tank avoid the timelapse to get aggro from him when he does it, and everyone else gets in LOS to get it. The off tank gets the aggro, runs back to the main tank spot and timelapse stops the main tank gets aggro again. This works good, till around 60%, then he seems to aggro wipe completely and starts hitting everyone but the offtank.
Not looking for a guide or anything, just wondering if this is normal, some guildmates where saying its a bug, have you guys had this happen?
Grats on AQ.

Sometimes Time Lapse will completely and permanently wipe the MT's aggro, even after the stun wears off.
Build that into your strat, and you should be fine.

Didn't Tigole claim that was fixed a while ago?

The MT's aggro being wiped is intentional, but there was a bug that had to do with resisting the stun that made it happen more often than it should have.

My guild is also currently dealing with a Time-Lapse/Frost Burn Chromaggus. Again, we do ok up until about 60-70%, we're just having some issues determining when exactly the MT/OT switch is going to happen. On several attempts, our OT burned Shield Wall prematurely, expecting the switch to happen, but it didn't actually work.
Do you have any suggestions regarding a way to determine when the MT/OT switch will actually occur?

No. Why should it matter? You have 20 seconds after Lapse to get him positioned, and if a warrior can tank him for 8 seconds during lapse, what's the problem with letting him keep going?
Just play as if every single breath could cause a permanent transition and plan accordingly.

Guess I'm probably looking at this the wrong way then. What you say does make sense in theory, we just need to practice it until we get a feel for it.

Probably a stupid question, but do you cast MOTW/GOTW on your raid when doing Chromaggus? We've been having an awful lot of TL resists, on both the MT (Good) and on our casters (Bad).
We've had our Mages stop using Mage Armor, but we still seem to have our mages/warlocks resist Time Lapse more often than we would like. Assuming that it's arcane damage, would the Arcane Resist provided by MOTW be a major concern?
Also: For some, odd, reason, our rogues (with the same MOTW as the casters) have not been having such immediate concerns as the casters/MT. Is there a possibility that the Time Lapse "diffuses" the further you get away from Chrom, thus being more likely to be resisted?

Highly unlikely.
And yes, if we see that one of Chrom's breaths is Time Lapse, nontanks who are going to be eating Time Lapse will click off their MotW.

Again, thanks for all the help you've provided. We'll hopefully be spending all 5 raid hours on Chrom tonight, and now, given that the "clusterfuck" feeling of the fight has been somewhat resolved, we should be able to get him down a bit lower. I'm not ENTIRELY positive that our healers' mana pools are sufficient to deal with the Enrage at 20%, but we'll certainly find out.
Our best wipe so far (not using sand): 49%.
Hopefully, with Sand on the Hunters/Healers/Tanks, we'll be able to bring this son of a female dog down.

28% this week, with TL/Ignite.
Next week he goes down, TL or not.
