Also, why do people keep saying that C'thun is all about resistances? I haven't seen anything on any forum that actually shows a certain resist threshold makes him much easier, just a "guarantee" from a poster on this one that resists will help immensely. Just because nobody's killed him yet and no raid has its best possible nature resistance yet doesn't mean that the nature resist is why nobody's downed him.
The reason no one's talking about it is because he hasn't been killed, and no one wants to give up the info. Also the attention wh0res who usually post 1337 strats haven't made it to him yet, but trust me resists help immensely.

I would expect the hardest bosses in AQ require pretty good NR gear since that is really the only way Blizzard can prevent the dungeon from being farmed in two weeks I think. If it's just a technical fight that requires someone figure it out but doable in BWL gear I think it'll get solved too fast. Player are very inventive when it comes to that.

It's not like half our druids are running around with 31-feral builds and staying in cat all run long. Most of our druids are primarily resto, but with their spare points in the feral tree. We have one actual "feral druid." But even a druid with 11 points in feral can be really valuable with Feral Charge to keep swarmguard-type mobs (including Sartura) controlled. What are they going to wear for that task? Full Stormrage?
Definately agree here, my guild has 1 31 Feral druid, all the rest are 31+ restoration. However they all love picking up the feral gear, because it helps them as you said "situationally". Weather it's PvE or PvP they still take the items.

ps : /growl for gettin 2x Ooze Gaunts... That is like winning the lottery :(
