***IF YOU DONT WANT TO KNOW SPOILERS DO NOT READ***

My guild just killed Battleguard Sartura after about 8 wipes.
We split the 3 adds, killing them 1 by one, trying to spread out as much as possible, and then by keeping spread out once more we killed Sartura. However, I feel we need more consistency, as the encounter was defeated by using some graveyard running as well, and we possibly dont want that to happen too much.
I guess that what my guild needs to improve more is possibly how the adds are dealt, trying to reduce the number of deaths while killing them.
Any hints to do so, and in general to improve our performance on this encounter?

dont use graveyard rush on that fight, the way sartura random aggros if she aggros someone at the beginning she will reset because of the tunnel leashing code. You shouldnt be using gy zerg on any bosses really. Your strat is pretty much the best way to take it down though.

to be honest you don't need to ask every reputable guild the same question...least of all copy and pasting.

I'm sure if i bothered to go to D+T or Fury i'd find the same thing...

Anyway, back on topic: your basic tactic is right, but like all things it takes practise

Yep.

You got the strat down, now just work on it. Make sure the cloth runs away from the spinning mobs, as they get eaten alive [I know from experiance --;]

All I can say is that this encounter is painful on rogues. :(

It doesn't seem too bad for the most part, but we usually get her to about 15-20% before she enrages which may not be good enough post 1.10. We play it pretty safe with the rogues running out pretty early. I've seen her devour clothies in 2 hits, makes me happy that I have dodge. :D

Er, she enrages at ~25% regardless.

That's normal.

Her SECOND Enrage makes her hit for 15k, and that's time-based. If you see her second Enrage and she isn't at like 4% when it happens, you lose.

Oh, I didn't really pay attention to when exactly she enraged since it didn't seem to change very much, even though she did it pretty early. I also didn't know she had a double enrage, so I guess we haven't had a chance come across it. I just figured there was the one that Blizzard mentioned in the patch notes and it was going to be buffed.

It still seems hard for the majority of our raid to maintain survivability throughout this encounter. Some of our more fragile classes have resorted to interesting consumables like lesser invuln etc. (though we still experience difficulty with this encounter)

Is it the experience of the people on this forum that this fight can be acomplished cleanly with minimal consumables ( a couple bandages and perhaps a health stone) or are you getting more exotic with what you bring in with you to maintain survivability?

?

It's just like any fight--consumables can give you a padding when you don't have everything prefectly down. The marginal benefit from them seems lower on this fight than on many others, anyway.
