One of two things.

1. The mage review buffed them to the point where they were actually able to kill a druid and they are had to fix that.

2. You are going to need it. Naxx is going to be tough.

If that instant heal thing is good enough, the previous druids who had innervate would probably still value additional heal utility. They just won't be the bastion of raid conviction and dedication that protection warriors and 11 point protection paladins are anymore, but who's really felt sorry for a druid in recent memory?
