Because theres 3 gem sockets. You can probably get like +crit and +hit and like +12 stat gems, stuff like that.

Bracers, Hat, and Chest are definite upgrades. Shoulders I need to do math and it's late, boots may not be an upgrade, legs may be a sidegrade because it's losing a crit(again need to check math), and the c'thun belt toasts BS since it's the same item only with 18 more AP and is probably a higher ilvl. Gloves are amazing if I can get the +dagger skill elsewhere otherwise I'm probably still wearing Aged Core Leather but they're better than anything else we can get.

That is just looking at stats and forgetting set bonuses though. The BS set bonuses are amazingly good and we need to math it up and figure out what kind of DPS they contribute.

It looks amazing too. Worked for bloodfang shoulders/boots :)

i dont really understand why you are losing that much str but here is what you gain/lose in stats (not including ap because i dont know how to factor that in)
this is including the ring and gloves, so it will vary depending on what you replace and the numbers are kind of inflated because of that but im tired

I'm the person who transposed the Rogue set pieces, so yes I can verify they are accurate based on what was being shown on the floor :P.

It's nice to see spellcrit worm its way into pally bonuses. With illumination that's a 13% mana cost reduction to HL/FoL right there.

You get roughly a bajillion crit out of the rogue set. All things considered you have like a 90% chance to crit a backstab for 2500.

Also I think might of menethil is like 46 strength and 30 stamina and it has 2 hit and 2 crit or a combination of those stats. I don't remember for sure anymore. I only saw that screenshot once. >_> <_<

Raiding-wise, I like the priest set bonuses. From what little I've seen of the actual set pieces, I'm happy with those too. I don't particularly like how it appears to be designed for an NE mangina and is going to look like shit on undead and troll priests.

The biggest problem is the way none of the sets have no resists or all that much in the way of stamina. I already have more hp and mana than that priest in the e3 screens. Offense vs. Defense in PvP was already totally out of control. This might push things from somewhat bearable to something I don't even want to bother with.

Wodin - I'm pretty sure the boots are better than DD, I dont think these forums need to see anymore rogue theorycraft atm but its basically 9ap vs 0.17% crit. Then I imagine people would still pick the boots up as you said, if only atleast to gain more of the set bonus'. I'm not sure how well the non-class set items will work out, they could be similarly adjusted to say the Belt of never ending agony, who knows.. maybe Chalon ? :)

Chalon, you're generally spot on and I'm assuming you're actually at E3 so I hereby pose you a challenge to find more +weapon skill items from naxx, the idea of Using maladath with Hungering cold seems abit of a shame when you could OH something with a higher "pure" addition to DPS (ie. Pugio or another high dps item). Maybe someone could even hunt down some of the Blizzard staff onsite and query about any changes to +weapon skill... wishfull thinking I guess.

8: 12% health cost redux on lifetap

Well actually, the felheart set 8 pieces bonus reduces the cost of all shadow spells by 15% ... including, despite the "mana cost" wording, the cost of Life Tap.
So here's a T3 8/8 bonus that's way weaker than the T1 8/8 bonus : 12% cost reduction on 1 spell against 15% cost reduction on what's about 90% of a warlock's spells in raid.
Must have been designed by some Blizzard-conflagrate-warlock-monkey.

Are all these "Hammer of Twisting Nether", "Kingsfall" & other pretty awesome items BC items, or drops from Naxxramas? If they do drop from naxx, it makes running other raid instance pretty useless, because Naxx just has better item for pretty much every slot. Sorry if this has been mentioned somewhere already, but i didnt notice it atleast.
