A guildie started the event and all 40 of us were inside the building where Keeper Remulos walks into. Well it didn't go so well when every shade came into the house and shadow bolted us to death in 10 seconds. Any hints on how to do this? Thanks.

Just so that you're aware, you're asking the guild who was the server-first to complete the quest, who's only done it once, and who had 30-second lag-inducing group of 500+ there to watch.

Stand way off to the side behind the inn and have pullers bring the shades to you.

Kaubel vs Gurg... who would win.

When we did it, we split up (We have about 100~ people there) the raids between all the buildings, and just started pulling shades and burning them. Just make sure the quest person is near the Keeper at all times. And he cant die.

That's exactly what we did. Three raids, one in the hut where Remulos starts, one in the north hut, and one in the inn. The entire goal is not letting the shades swarm.

I did nothing but try to hug Remulos through the lag. If I died, immediately pop an SS and just make sure he doesn't get too far away from me.

Is the quest still buggy? We had to do it three times, due to bizarre failures.

3) Yes, sometimes you cast many Wraths and no Eclipse procs. Deal with it.

When we did this on test, a much harder version, it's basically a race against time.
When the shades first sapwn, npcs should also spawn.. distracting them.. but also souping them up.
Now shades spawn ALL OVER.. but most of them do not aggro you.
If you position accordingly you should be able to take down the shades in the house quickly.. and then move out from there.

Now.. on top of that a large amount of shades congreagate right outside the house.. if you do not move fast there will be a ton there and you will die.

Unless something has changed, all the shades rushing you is either a bug or something you are doing.
