Has anyone else had this problem since the patch? We pet pull the anibusath into Huhurans room, identify the combo then adapt the raid to said combo. What ive noticed lately is that the secondary portion of the combo (Meteor vs Plague) has been changing randomly after the pet dies. Is there any way to "keep" the initial combo as horde? I know alliance can use blessings to do so, but as horde this rapid changing as the mob comes into the raid is very annoying.

If you're checking with a hunter who feigns the mobs off then I think the combo changes. This might be your problem.

If you let the pet die that might affect it...

Personally I don't like to let my pet die on petpulls; I just break Eyes of the Beast as soon as the mob aggros.

If you aren't a goblin, why not?

If you break eyes of the beast on aggro, how are you able to tell the combos to the raid?

We don't do it like that. One can tell if they are a meteor or thunderclap as they approach the raid, depending on how their hands glow. And if the Anubisath drops a meteor, it's meteor. If the plague mod goes off, it's plague. We use more dynamic positioning, keeps people on their toes :P

You can also have a priest mind vision the pet, then when he gets in range of the Anubisath just Mind Vision it and announce it's abilities.

If you let the Anubisath get out of combat (but then quickly reaggro something else) it will reroll the base abilities.

Tried this last night and it worked superbly. The death of the pet is whats definitely resetting the combos from my observations.
