I know some guilds do this. How do you do it? Do you just trade money? Is there an auto-mailer add-on your banker can use to pay people? Looking into the practicality of it, mainly. How much extra work it creates for our bank and how you reduce the temptation of someone who is perpetually broke from trying to get a little extra out of the guild bank. Booting a good player because they couldn't pass up a little temptation isn't a good compromise in WoW.

In general we all pay for our own repair costs, because well, purples and stuff.

On intensive guranteed multiple wipe sessions, we're told to just CoD something for repair costs, this works because we all pretty much trust each other that we aren't going to try and pull a fast one.

In my raid, sometimes flat 50 G rep cost refunds are passed out to everybody (our raid numbers about 50 members). Not exactly fair (Hunters come in mind, tanks as the other extreme), but it keeps the management overhead to a minimum.

we give our two-three active 31 prot warriors a flat 15g/raid for repairs and that's that. they farm more pots than anyone and has a gimped spec for grinding cash and have the highest repair costs. it's not completly fair but fair enough.

yeah on the rare occasions we do it it is a flat 20g each. We will also toss our tanks some extra cash if they are having an extremely ugly night cause our healers forgot to heal or something all night. I have been tempted to denie hunters gold but we still need their tranq shot. Bastards and their 1g repair bills.
