How do you guys decide which of the two to kill last each week? I didn't include Yauj cause her unique loot is pretty crappy. I ask because I still really want Angelista's Charm but am having trouble convincing my guild to kill Vem last anymore. I typed up a long post on our own guild forums but nobody really seemed to care. Looking for some insight / tips on how to get them to kill Vem again... Thanks!

We just rotate week to week. I don't understand how you can say Yauj's unique loot is crappy, though - the healer items are godly.

We rarely bother with Kri. We alternated between Vem and Yauj for 3 months, and now are occasionally killing Kri.

Vem and Yauj = pimp NR gloves, and NR is progression. Everything else is replaceable.

We did kill Yauj last a fair bit for NR gloves for our rogues, and a couple of rings for our Vek'lor tank warlocks.

Kri is harder, and his unique items are unspectacular and generally are readily replaceable elsewhere. You can't get other epic NR gloves elsewhere.

My guild kills Vem last because he drops plate NR gear that the others don't, I believe.

You have to understand, however, that it makes sense for your raid leaders to do what's best for the guild as a whole. You may want a specific item from Vem, but if more people need drops from Kri, it only makes sense for your guild to continue killing him last until the situation changes. There are multiple perspectives.

We've been killing Vem for a while now, as said previously NR = progression. I believe we're gonna start doing Yauj soon for a ring for our warlocks, and after we've got the resist stuff we need we might try Kri. It's too bad Triad Girdle drops every kill, though.

Not sure what "healer items" from Yauj herself are godly that Wodin is referring too. Yes, I admit it is part greed of what I want being off of Vem. NR gloves for rogues we don't really need since we've finished all of aq now, and we tank Vek'lor with warlocks and have never had trouble with shadow resist... I'm looking at the loot in terms of what will help us the most in Naxxramas. The neck is one of the best healer necks out there, comparable with the Eye of Cthun turnin neck and currently overitemized by about 10 points. The DPS wand off Kri is no doubt the best all around caster wand out there, and the healer ring is pretty good too. The problem is my guild didn't really bother killing anybody other than Vem untill very recently. Personally I would like to see us rotate but my guild seems to think that since Kri is the hardest we should kill him to make up for all the Vem killing we did. QQ, mostly I'm just sick of the neck that I'm currently using, been outrolled on 6+ Jindoo's Evil Eye, as well as a plethora of other necks, + I missed the last time angelista's dropped. Yeah, I definitely agree with the Cthun neck option. Just with NDKP I have to compete against lots of other classes for the Eye. Totally forgot about Naxx in terms of NR, from the little testing I did and from what I've read it will definitely be neeed. It's really a toss up I guess, I'd really like to see a rotation and I'll probably bring that back up in guild discussion.

Is killing Kri last is really harder than killing Yauj last ? My guild tried Yauj last and her constant self-healing was a major pain for us.

Yauj last isn't "easy" by any means, but Kri hits really, really, really hard when he's enraged and if you aren't completely ready for it you will get destroyed.

I personally think that Yau is harder when she's the last one left. With fears, heals and occasional oneshots on clothies etc. Kri is just standing there, hitting hard sure but he goes down so quickly. Getting to the point where Kri is alone left is slightly harder though (as alliance).

Heh... we killed Yauj last accidently on our first bug trio kill. We didn't realize the bugs enraged and after Kri was down just decided to get Vem (bye bye Angelista's Charm :( ) out of the way before focusing everyone on interrupting Yauj's heals. It's heartening to know that killing Kri last isn't that much worse.

There's is an entire Nature wing in Naxx, if I recall.

One of the wings is known as "The Plague Wing."

'nuff said.

I'm hoping that they'll do a "theme" for each wing; Nature, Frost, Shadow and Fire.
Then I got at least 2 armor sets ready for Naxx :(

that and aye, as there is no craftable nature resistance (in comparrison to frost and fire), ahn'qiraj is going to be a staple supply of nature resistance gear for the plague wing.

While those items won't replace AQ and green dragon drops they'll certainly help members who are unable to attend ninja green dragon raids due to work commitments replace the crap they are wearing from Maraudon :)

There are guilds with stupid names like OMGLAZERSPEWPEW on every single test. It loses its charm after the first time... or before that. Also, oh god I'm not even through BWL and my bags are full of gear crap. ;_;

It's the first boss in the Necro wing (south-east wing).
I got a full map with boss locations from the SA forums, but I think the author(s) browse these forums already, so I'm going to wait for them to post it.

Gurgthock, you're forgetting the petrified scarab - it's argueably the best tank item in the game and extremely powerful.
+100 resist all for 1 minute every 3 minutes. Sure, you might get it reduced to 70 over that minute but very few abilities are direct hits and count towards reducing the amount of resistance.
