Character copies are back up, and seperated, if anyone hadn't noticed already!

Get out there and test some shit =P

If you copy a templated character you go to one server. If you copy your own character you go to a different server, that way guilds that want to test Naxx don't have to put up with a queue of 5000 people that want to test out a warrior in full wrath with an Ashkandi.

I'm assuming if this is true, they must have copied the premade db or something, becuase despite having 4 copies available, when I tried to copy my Hunter over, I got a name conflict (assuming it was from the template copy I had made with the same name)

Pre-Existing character copies are seperated from the Pre-made copies.... completely different servers it seems, as there is no lag on the pre-existing transfer page, while the pre-made copies are pretty much down.

I highly suggest zoning into strat after dying in Naxx.

Stuck at work: has anyone who managed to copy their pre-existing character in the first wave of transfers checked if its on the pre-made or pre-existing server?

I'll check later on, but I had transferred over my shaman during the first wave of transfers (and also a few premades) and kept my original name, and it went to the RPPvE server. When I heard about transfers opening back up, I recopied my character over using the same name, and did not get a naming conflict, so I assume he went to the PvP server.

I'm like you though, stuck at work, so I can't tell for sure.

Yeah, I got two on the RPPvE server but I'll see if I can sneak on into the other one too just in case.

Am I missing something or are copies not segregated?

When I checked last night, there were still only 2 realms, RPPvE and PvE, the original 2 templates I copied + my 60 that I copied were all on PvE, and RPPvE had nothing. PvE also had a 1000+ queue later in the evening and was overrun at LHC with template-copies PvP'ing.

Logged onto test last night, and noticed that the servers arent seperated either. The worst part was noticing that since LFG channel is now worldwide that the amount of trash in that channel makes it completly useless, hopefully that trait wont carry over once its released.

The global LFG channel is interesting although there are some bugs, yesterday a few people were spamming text in it so fast it was causing serious lag and it might have also caused the world server to go down a few times or that could have been just it crashing from having so many people in one area. It took me 5 tries to get from WPL -> Light's Hope Chapel due to rollbacks.
