I saw the one about stam buffs and remembered doing one for my priest.

Prayer of Fortitude - 70 stam
Divine Spirit - 40 spirit
Arcane Intelect - 31 int
Blessing of Wisdom - 40 mp5
Mark of the Wild - 16 int - 16 stam - 16 spirit

Elixer of the Sages - 18 spirit 18 int (doesn't stack with DS or AI =*( )
Mageblood Potion - 12 mp5
Spirit of Zanza - 50 Spirit 50 stam (doesn't stack with Gizzard Gum)
Gizzard Gum - 50 spirit (doesn't stack with Spirit of Zanza)
Flask of Distilled Wisdom - 2000 mana
or
Flask of the Titans - 1200 health
Weapons
Brilliant Mana Oil - 12 mp5

Food
Nightfin soup - 8 mp5 for 10 min <---------best overall
or
Run Tum Tuber Suprise - 10 int
or
Hot Smoked Bass - 10 spirit
or
Monster Omlet - 12 spirit 12 stam
or
Sagefish Delight - 6 mp5 for 15 min (better for longer fights than nightfin)

Kreeg's Stout Beatdown - 25 spirit -5 int

total - 131 spirit - 72 mp5 - 42 int - 130 stam - 2000 mana or 1200 health

Toss a blessing of kings on there and you're talking BIG PIMPIN healing power.

If there are any I've missed or if some of these don't stack please say so.

Oh yeah, this is for aliance, sorry horde =(

On most AQ fights (and I assume Nax, following their encounter design progress), I'd consider a Titans more useful than a Distilled Wisdom even on a healer. On some of these fights the healers go through such huge amounts of mana that 2k isn't gonna do a thing, whereas 1200 extra hp might be what saves them from getting KOd by some RSTS.

I am the same as mosh, 2k int makes no difference at all with the amount I burn through in one boss fight, 1200 hp on the other hand made a huge difference for me. When we were learning cthun, 6500 green beam? oh well, leaves me on 700hp.

Consumable buffs I have used recently are mageblood, chimeroak chops, zanza, titans, elixir of fortitude, green grog and brilliant mana oil.

That extra cushion of more stam helps oh so much more than some silly int.

Do you ever use this ? Too expensive material wise and with same materials you can
have 5 Major Mana Potions and save a Black lotus for a Titan Flask.

On our first Nefarian kill we had a druid using that flask when he oomed. He said that the flask gave him full mana when he took it.

You can add Sagefish Delight to your list of food buffs. (6 mana/5 and lasts 15 mins, which is 5 mins longer than nightfin.)

cheebamonkey 05/27/06 1:45 PM

ah, i didn't know that it was longer for the sage fish.

And i see what you mean by titan being more usefull than wisdom in many cases, since really one mana pot or a greater dreamless sleep potion would acomplish the same end.

Also with blizzard changing the way potions work (at least consumables) I was wondering if people know what pots and other mana rejuvinating items now share cooldowns.

For what it's worth, Distilled Wisdom was amazing for our speedruns, when coupled with the %-restoring quest/holiday food. Other than that, I've never chugged any flask other than titans.
